Join us for a special teaching, recorded exclusively for our online followers, deep-diving into the Messianic significance of Yom Kippur, a solemn day of self-affliction, when the flesh is denied and atonement sought for sin and defilement, so that the spirit can be elevated and raised into God's presence. We look at the connections between the rituals of the appointed time and the role of the earthly high priest, and the deeper, eternal meaning of these things, themselves just shadows of what takes place in the heavenly realm, through our perfect and incorruptible High Priest. From our house to yours, shalom, and may you have a blessed day of reconnecting with our heavenly Father! ******* *More Information* Want to learn more? For it is to this that you have been called, so that you may receive a blessing. For “Whoever wants to love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit, turn from evil and do good, seek peace and chase after it. For Adonai keeps his eyes on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayers; but the face of Adonai is against those who do evil things.”” 1 Kefa (1 Pe) 3:8-12

I believe we are grafted into Israel, not Judaism. All Jews are Hebrews but not all Hebrews are Jews. The Israelites are all Hebrews descended from Abraham, the original Hebrew, then his son Isaac and his son Ya’acob/Israel and his twelve sons, the twelve tribes of israel, one of whom was Judah/Yehudah. The Hebrews of the tribe of Judah were the ones who were called Jews. “The English term Jew is originally derived from the Hebrew term Yehudi (lit. ' of Judah ').” Shabbat shalom and have an easy Yom Kippur.

Our "family in Christ" is all who are grafted into the BRANCH and the VINE which is Yahshua, our Lord. Israel, the State, is not, and was not developed by God, as His "Chosen," but it was made by man. Rothchild had a part in it. God scattered Israel long ago to be absorbed by the nations, but He knows who we are and is calling us to come back to Him. The nation called Israel today is run by wicked men, Illuminati and Kabalists, and other secret alliances. They are also looking for a messiah to come, this is the false messiah that is prophesied. Daniel talks about the "little horn" who stands up in the temple declaring, "He is god!" This will happen over there in the state of Israel. But then we are warned by Daniel's, saying that twenty three hundred evenings and mornings later, which is literal days, that the Sanctuary will be cleansed. THIS IS THE SANCTUARY IN HEAVEN! And this is the FINAL DAY OF ATONEMENT in heaven, where Christ offers up His blood once and for all, and then declares that IT IS FINISHED! The sensor which carries the prayers of the righteous and the sinners, is thrown back to the earth. There is no more forgiveness of sin, there is no more chance for redemption. For He declares, "He who, is righteous, let him be righteous still, and he who is filthy let him be filthy still." Time is up, there are no more second chances. There is no more grace, it is FINISHED! AND FIVE DAYS LATER, WE WILL HAVE THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST COMING TO GET HIS BRIDE, AND ALL THE RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE, BOTH LIVING AND DEAD, WHOM Christ WILL RAISE TO LIFE At THE SOUND OF THE LAST TRUMPET the dead in Christ will rise first, and WE who are alive and remain WILL BE CAUGHT UP INTO THE AIR WITH THE LORD, AND SO WE SHALL EVER BE WITH THE LORD. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. Then we WILL SPEND A 1000 YEARS IN HEAVEN going over the books of the lives of the wicked to venerate God's decision in condemning them to eternal death. At the end of the thousand years, we will COME BACK WITH HIM to earth, in the Holy City, this is the THIRD COMING, WHEN HE BRINGS THE HOLY CITY down to the earth. His feet touch the Mount of Olives, and it splits into a giant plain, which becomes the footprint for the Holy City, fifteen hundred miles square! He raises all of the wicked dead from Adam's day right up to the FINAL Day of Atonement. After the Gog and MaGog conflict, HE PERFORMS THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT. EVERY Knee will bow, and every TONGUE WILL CONFESS THAT, "JESUS CHRIST IS LORD." Even Satan will take part in this. Every sinner will see his life flash before him and understand that God has given them every chance, to choose to be with God, but they did not. There will be wailing and nashing of teeth. To verify all that I have said, read your Bible carefully, and put all the texts together. You will find the pieces to the puzzle fit. Both old and new Testament support these facts that I have given you. Shalom.

Thank you for your teaching, it has given me better understanding of this solemn Holy Day. I would like to ask a question if it's alright. I need help with understanding on something my congregation that I go to, is going to do on the feast of Tabernacles. I've only been going to this congregation for less than a year. I was shocked when I heard today at service that in the program for the feast of Tabernacles they will be carrying a replica of the Ark of the Covenant that someone in the church made. I thought we weren't to make an image of anything on earth or in heaven, to not profane the Holy and that it's not to be carried by just anyone, but a true Levite. Could you help me discern if this is an ok thing to do or an outright horrid sin? I am truly upset by this.

The TRUE Yom Kippur, based on the sighting of the New Moon, begins Sunday evening. The priests, who never had the authority to change anything, have changed how they calculate the months. But if you follow the Bible, as we are all commanded to do, Yom Kippur begins Sunday night. However, I am NOT saying that if you observe on the newly scheduled day, that God won't accept your sacrifice. For God is gracious.

Can someone please explain to me how it’s possible to fully accept both the Christian belief in Jesus’ once-and-for-all atonement for sins and the observance of Yom Kippur, which requires annual atonement through personal repentance and reconciliation? How can the recurring need for forgiveness in Yom Kippur be reconciled with the Christian doctrine that Jesus’ sacrifice provides complete and final forgiveness?
@AlmondHouseFellowship2 ай бұрын
Shalom this is the Almond House admin team replying and not Tommy so his answer may differ. We do this in the same way we observe and many other Christians observe Passover or so called "Easter". Regarding Passover, has our Passover lamb been slain? Yes. Why then do we still observe it? Two reasons are that it is a remembrance AND a sign that we are his. Remembrance: *Exodus 20:8* Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy Sign: *Ezekiel 20:12* Moreover, I gave them my Sabbath*s,* as a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD who sanctifies them. We are told in Leviticus 23 that the Day of Atonement is a Sabbath. And therefore qualifies for the scriptures above. ... Do we see Christians observe the Day of Atonement after the sacrifice, ressurection and ascension of Yeshua in the Second Writing’s (New Testament)? Yes. *Acts 27:9* Much time had been lost, and sailing had already become dangerous because by now it was after the *Day of Atonement.* So Paul warned them, We read that Paul and his men was fasting for the Day of Atonement. This is why it was dangerous for them to sail. He and his men was fasting after having the knowledge of Christ. Paul recognised the appointed times of Yah and even observed Unleavened bread / Passover post Yeshua's ascension. *1 Corinthians 5:8* Therefore let’s celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. Why does he recognise these appointed times? Well that's because according to Zachariah 14 we will be celebrating them in the Kingdom to come. We read how all the nations of the Earth will celebrate Tabernacles. Paul shares his commentary on this in: *Colossians 2:17* 16 Therefore let no one judge you by what you eat or drink, *or with regard to a feast,* a New Moon, or a Sabbath. 17 These are a shadow of the things to come, but the body that casts it belongs to Christ. Of course there are many more reasons, too many to cover in a KZbin comment. We recommend you watching "The True, Death, Burial and Ressurection" video, and our Appointed Times playlist for further resources.

You aren't supposed to fast on a feast day... Day of Atonement is listed as a feast day, if you are fasting, you are breaking the command to keep His feast. Afflicting your soul is an internal review of your life and sins, confessing your sins before God, and truly repenting and turning from your sins
@Lyn-io5tx2 ай бұрын
I am with the understanding that we are to be very well nourished the day prior to Yom Kippur in order that we would not afflict our souls but that we would understand what those in need endure and to have compassion. Our feast then is on Gods word of sacrifice, love,truth, redemption, at one ment with Him.
@MK2Scirocco2 ай бұрын
@@Lyn-io5tx well... Those things are good, but we are commanded to feast on God's feast days, so fasting on a feast day is breaking His eternal law.
@lampsaltlight2 ай бұрын
Leviticus 16:31 says “It is a Sabbath of solemn rest to you, and you shall afflict yourselves; it is a statute forever.” In the original hebrew language “to afflict oneself” means to fast. But since we are in the new covenant, I believe you can choose no to fast if you want, as long as you are in the process of repentance.
@MK2Scirocco2 ай бұрын
@@lampsaltlight that's not accurate... You might want to look up the definitions of the Hebrew words. Fasting on Yom Kipper is a tradition of man, it is not commanded by God. It is listed as a feast day... We are commanded to feast on the feast days. Also, in Hebrews it is made clear that we are NOT in the new covenant. Hebrews 8:13In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is READY to vanish away. So at the time that Hebrews was written, the old covenant was ready to vanish away, it hadn't vanished already, and this was many years after Christ ascension 🤔 we aren't in the new covenant until our resurrection and glorification when His law will be written on our hearts and we will no longer have to teach people to know God, because ALL will know Him, from the least to the greatest. Not EVERYONE knows God, therefore we are NOT in the new covenant.

@101life92 ай бұрын
It's a done deal. Now we have a new and better covenant. Like you said, "a ritual.". Should the new covenant believers practice it? Personally, it is not required. In fact, repentance to God or man is to be practiced every time we fall into sin against God or transgressed another, fast anytime led by the Spirit, not just on this day only. Just my understanding 😊.

Many good teachings save for one: we are not given access to the Holy of Holies, this is wishfull thinking. Only the High Priest is granted that privilege, and then not at any time but only once a year. When He said "It is finshed" on the day of His crucifixion, He was referring to the fulfilment of Passover. The time of day was the 'ninth hour', that is 3:00PM, it was the exact time of the afternoon sacrifice in the Temple. He had been delivered to the Romans at the third hour (9:00AM), the exact time of the morning sacrifice in the Temple. And so all had been done according to God's instructions given to Moses about this Holy Day. It did not apply to anything else but to Passover itself. Through that sacrifice, He opened the door to the whole world to be grafted into Israel, the sole recipient of His promises, as long of course if there is obedience to His Law. When the veil of the Temple was rent from top to bottom it was the Father's witness that Yeshua was His son. It is a custom in Judaism for a father to rent his clothes upon learning about his child's death. We can see that in Genesis 37:34 And Jacob rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days. To claim that by this gesture God opened up the Holy of Holies to the world is nothing but human wishful thinking. And to claim to Yeshua actually fulfilled Yom Kippur that day demonstrates a flawed and wrong comprehension of the events of that day. God does things in order and is not subjected to the flawed understanding of men. Yeshua fulfilled Passover that day, and when He rose up from the grave three days later He became our High Priest, not before that. He also fulfilled Firstfruit when He went up to heaven to present Himself to the Father, and then He fulfilled Pentecost when He sent the Holy Spirit as we see in Acts 2:1-5. Interestingly there were only Jews assembled together that day who received the Holy Spirit, not a single Gentile. Now the next Feast Day to be fulfilled will be Rosh Hashanah, when He will be crowned King of kings and Lord of lords as this is the day that Kings are crowned in Israel. On that day the Books will be opened and Judgement will begin. And then He will fulfil Yom Kippur when He renders final judgement. All things in order according to His way. To claim His crucifixion was the fulfilment of Yom Kippur makes no sense whatsoever especially when the Talmud tells us that for the last forty years before the destruction of the Temple on the 9th of Av in 70AD the red sash that was tied to the Temple doors did not turn white anymore. This definetely contradicts the idea of Yom Kippur being fulfilled.
@surethabadenhorst2 ай бұрын
Hi, just want to ask why can't both be true? Why can't it be the rending of Father's clothes at the death of His Son (viel) and be a sign of the significance of the sacrifice made on the cross to grant access to the Holy of Holies?
@ALAINDEGRANDPRE2 ай бұрын
@@surethabadenhorst Because first of all the Holy of Holies is reserved for the High Priest only; nobody else was even allowed in the inner court at that time. Second, even the High Priest can not enter in as he pleases but only once a year at the time God appointed. Third, Yom Kippur is strictly for Israel itself and not for the nations. Fourth, all the Feast Days are also celebrated in Heaven at the same time as we do on earth. Because everything on earth is patterned after what is in Heaven. The sacrifice on the cross granted Gentiles access so they can be grafted into Israel, which is and will continue to be His chosen people. So although the Gentiles can be grafted in it does not grant them any special privileges. God does things in order, according to His schedule and is not subjected to mankind's interpretation of things. That's why.
@ALAINDEGRANDPRE2 ай бұрын
@@surethabadenhorst Because the Holy of Holies is reserved for the High Priest alone and then not at any time he pleases but only once a year. John 14:6 Yeshua saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Yeshua by His resurrection has become our High Priest, we have access to Him by the following of His Law. But we do not have direct access to the Father, we need to go through Him.
