The Highest Railway Bridge of Germany - Modular Model Railroad Layout with TT Scale Trains

At a model train exhibition, Pilentum Television discovered a modular model railway layout depicting the highest railway bridge in Germany. In reality, this bridge is called “The Müngsten Bridge” and was constructed in 1897. The Müngsten Bridge is the highest railway bridge in Germany. The bridge is 107 metres (351 feet) high and spans the valley of the river Wupper, connecting the cities of Remscheid and Solingen. Originally the bridge was named “Kaiser-Wilhelm-Brücke” (“Emperor Wilhelm Bridge”).
The German model railway experts Renato Buttig, Matthias Mickei and André Schnierstein, better known as the Guben-Gubin model railroading group, build railway modules on a scale of 1/120, also known as TT gauge or TT scale. The model of the arch bridge measures 3.60 meters in length. Due to the smaller scale of the TT gauge (1/120), model railway layouts can be built much larger, much more detailed and much longer compared to the usual H0 gauge (1/87). In addition, model trains in TT scale can be run in authentic train lengths - almost like the original.

Just found my late father's decades old model train collection which includes Lionel® and even N scale Postage Stamp trains from Aurora and few other's.. I'm 𝙉𝙊𝙏 a train guy myself and my knowledge is limited although learning a lot from KZbin. I fondly remember him buying pieces and kits occasionally as a young kid and a local hobby shop loved as a kid but I was more into the RC's. Probably will sell the collection after researching more and live in Massachusetts
