I used to work right next to Highgate cemetery- it is extremely eerie, especially at night or in the early morning or evening. Great story and video!

Thanks. I used to walk through the cemetery as a short cut on the way home from school, decades ago. There was a section of the fence I could get through at the time. I actually managed to blag a job there as a gravedigger for 3 months during a very cold winter. I used to eat my lunch in a freshly dug grave to keep out of the cold. I never saw anything untoward, but I don't think I'm receptive to such things.

Really interesting. Love the remarks about investigation sucking people into a twisted nest. The tulpa explanation seems to fit a great deal of strange phenomenon and i believe hasn't been investigated enough. Like the "Phillip" experiment, and the Scole experiment. There's connections to John Keel and the Mothman incident and, here in the U.K, The Warminster U.F.O flap, which seemed to rapidly transfer to the Dyfed triangle case.

That was a great story! The characters involved just makes it bloom out into a complete circus. The heretics of the Old Catholic church vs a witch coven that practice voodoo like curses, a bout as bizarre as anything I think I have ever heard. It almost dwarfs the vampire aspect of the story. 😄

That was really well made, I didn't want it to end. Excellent work. I love Highgate Cemetary, such an amazing place to visit. My last visit a few years ago they opened up the catacombs and allowed people in there to see all caskets

I love this story. I find it so easy to imagine the foggy streets of London and the dilapidated cemetery. It's a Hammer Horror movie come true... well, maybe. I saw an unrelated video a couple of weeks ago in which a French satanist claimed it was other satanists (practicing in France) who conjoured the Highgate Vampire through a ritual they held in a Parisian park! lol

Check out Hammer films, Dracula AD 1972, the Highgate Vampire was the inspiration for that film.

Given the time period, both Farrant and Manchester's story would make for a good comedy horror. I'm thinking Sid James and Charles Hawtrey in the lead roles.

The Highgate vampire, nice story, any cases of loss of blood, or deaths, I think not. Possibly ghost sighting, of what an eight foot shade you don't get many s many eight foot people knocking around, in a previous life. More like a hoax, attracting nutters, and attention seekers, these we all must agree, is the most plausible explanation. 😂
