If there is anything this comp has taught me its that persistence is key :D After DNFing my average in clock finals and out of national record i came back next comp a couple weeks later to break it by a good margin sure it sucks missing my chance being national champion, but the more you think about the what ifs of previous failures, you cant really focus on what you can do to come back from them

I had a simmaler expiriance, i dnf-ed out of a 3rd place on Croatian nationals for clock and those 2 dnfs were my last 2 solves:( But I keep grinding and will see how the next nationals will go

I love going to cubing competitions just to see people become happy when they get a good solve. Whenever I see being going through rough times because they got a bad solve, I try my best to cheer them up and sometimes it doesn't work but I still try.

And I think it is so incredible of how resilient olor and tingboy where when they didn’t get the best times. Once i dnfed in 4x4 by .43 seconds of time limit with a time of 2:30.43 then got a 2:30.03 . i didnt make cutoff nor time limit. also at my last comp i broke my 3x3 pr single 3 times in one average (my pb single is 14.11 and my pr was 19.somthing) and i average around 20, all my counting solves were sub-20 with a 18 +2

I love going to cubing comps and seeing kids get so excited about pbs and being active members of such a wholesome community. Olor is approaching sub 10 averages in the next year or two and to see all of you push through the challenges of not performing your best when you know you can do better is really inspiring and reminds me of why I really cube in the first place

If I don’t wanna pay $100 shipping, and I need the cube in a day I’m gonna buy the cubicle, probably even if I don’t need it in a day. Dailypuzzles is still great though, I got Olor’s signed mat. P.S. I literally won 95% of all chopsticks games in my old school. I memorized what most of the people did, memorized the most common paths, and in 60% of all winning games I won in less than 8 turns, because it was such a common path so I naturally learned the most efficient way.
