Kris recently retired at 84. I respect it. He reached the end of his road. Willie is still riding strong at 90, and I don’t see him stopping anytime soon. Cash, Waylon, you are missed very dearly.

Back in 1990, I was 11, and being European did not give a flying fuck about country. Today, I can appreciate their awesomeness, I am a fan. I was a corporate pilot for most of my life and I played this song on the aircrafts radio, 8-track, cassette, cd and finally digital download, before nearly every flight. Never got tired of it. Just meant so much to me. Change a few words around and it works. Like a band of Gypsies we go down the skyways, not highways, and such. Miss those days of flying. Now retired !!

Imagine seeing four big stars on stage like that for an entire tour , that would never hsppen today . They were a super group b4 there were super groups .
