It is an uncommon pleasure to have such a good pair of smart, inquisitive questions coupled by well-prepared, self-critic answers. It was a treat to watch both Mr. Clemons and Earl Spencer. What got me the most was the twofold answer of Earl Spencer to the process of writing the chronicle of what happened: 1.- He as a writer: You want the reader to think one of three things, "I want to be him", "He is like me" or "I DO NOT want to be him". 2.- He calmly gives the source. By doing so he not only shows erudition but also lets us see over his shoulder to understand his process as a writer. Kudos to him for that.
