One of the scientists (mathematician) I watched on the subject of aliens said that he absolutely believes in other intelligent life in the universe. However, the probability of having a similar intelligence, a kind where we could communicate with each other, within the same period of time, in a close enough region of the universe to reach out to each other, is not mathematically probable. So it isn’t impossible but extremely unlikely. The kind of unlikely that is incomprehensibly minuscule. He was explaining the size of the universe and how long it takes to evolve and how rare it is to have the right conditions. I just remember him saying that it was so improbable that essentially he was being asked if he believes in miracles. I wish I had saved the video.

I highly doubt he has any of the numbers necessary to do the math on that one. We have checked exactly one planet for life and it's full of it all came from an unknown common ancestor 4 billion years ago or whatever. can't exactly make a curve off of that.

People absolutely need to start talking more shit in the arts/comedy etc. especially in comedy (is it even shit talking? More like well needed criticism). Some of these older comedians that have gotten rich and then spew unfunny shit for the masses, getting even more money from the subpar specials and acts for people to just lap it up, because they were talented years before, has to be shit talked way more. It's totally ok to not be what you were before and stop, especially if you have the money (like these mega known and successful comedians), just retire and spare us.

I love her on the Progressive commercials she’s super funny. I get media has helped break the envelope on what’s out there but creativity also has given people an overly large ego where influencers/content creators on KZbin or TikTok literally record everything goin on in their lives and sometimes it seems people can’t just step away and like actually enjoy life. Or give other people privacy to enjoy theirs. Thats my critique on it and why I wouldn’t want to constantly be making videos to make a living or plugging for some sponsor that’s gotten pretty bad video wise so I just skip those parts cause no I don’t want Shark VPN.
