How far away is the bus stop to take you downtown? Could you walk downtown?

I’m sorry I can’t really remember too much about the bus. No you cannot walk there easily you probably need to take public transportation- bus, taxi or Uber. The hotel is very walkable to all the main attractions of Amsterdam, I'm not sure what she's talking about. No, you're not right downtown but you can definitely walk unless you're disabled
