You should consider putting in a USB port in there somewhere for a bit of modern touch since you already put in a CF bezel for the stereo.

I get a wistful feeling watching you take apart and reassemble a car put together with metal parts, real screws and bolts! Can you imagine trying to do a rebuild like this 30 years from now on one of today's cars with all the snap together once plastic crap that turned brittle 20 years earlier and unneeded electronic stuff that no longer works, not to mention going to a speciality store to find gasoline? Some amazing work giving that old truck a new lease on life.

Looking good, Testors model paint is what I've found that most people use to freshen up the needles on the cluster. They have a variety of colors that seem to be close to the OEM on the needles. I've seen it sprayed or just brushed on. I prefer spray on as not to get the paint to thick in one spot.

It is a shame you are not into old cars like a 1958 Chevy Nomad or a 71 Cuda. Boy, one of those would be a diamond once you got finished with it with your talent, skills and work eithic. The Hilux is looking goooood!

Nice work! Stagger your cuts on the wire extensions, it will keep you from having a bulge in your harness and keeps the butt connectors or solder joints from rubbing.

I have a few questions about rebuilding my own 91-92 toyota. it has been sitting for about 7 years and the reason it wasent being driven anymore is because oil wasent addded and it ran without little to no oil for about 4-9 months, is it possible to either rebore or polish the cylinder holes? or is a new engine block needed. i am planning on making it a sort of prepper truck because that is somthing i like to do. also the entire underside is rusted so i will need to maybe replace some beams

The allenkey bolts sticking out is a flop Cut 2 strips 25mm pieces from the cut out leftover and drill the allenkey bolts into them counter sinking the heads and glue them on the back then you won't see them from the front
