Yeah, real fat would have given Brendan, likely, belly fat. The fat suit shows lipedema, as it does here, and really communicates the difficulties arising from the weight and the vicious circle

His beer belly is evident in photos from 2009 on, but his weight fluctuates according to when he's on/off the Lithium. The Prednisone has added weight too. He was 359 when he made The Whale. He's lost some weight since they filmed it 21 months ago, but too many people think he actually weighed 600. This was a great sketch.

I didn't think it was offensive, I just thought it wasn't good and needlessly depressing with contrived bad/cheesy dialogue. This is his version of 'Simple Jack' (if you have ever seen 'Tropic Thunder'). Oscar bait material. If you want to watch good films about redemption, I think much better examples include 'american history x', 'schindler's list', 'groundhog day', 'the fischer king', etc.

Also, Mojo is an awesome villain that i think would be tops for a film. With the multiverse open, and after the events of Wanda's hex in Westview (plus we have Agatha around to tell the tale) we could easily see Mojo hear talk around town that Wanda created her own tv show for her own sake, and well, that's kind of what Mojo is all about
