Thanks for the video! It is unfortunate that Ricoh/Pentax changed the implementation of the histogram as you showed in this video. I hope Ricoh/Pentax will correct this or implement this as a new "feature" in their next firmware update. You need a magnifying glass to read the histograms on the K-3 III. From what I noticed the the K-3 III light metering is more temperamental in challenging situations compared to the K-1 II or the K-3 II so I heavily rely on the RGB histograms for my work.

I would like to see the histogram when set to RGB and RAW. Curious, because, the colour gamut is greater in Adobe RGB versus sRGB. And, JPEG is tossing, at minimum, 60% of the image data if you have it set to least compression. The fact that the K-3 Mark III shows all the individual colours in the histogram is why. So, it would be interesting if you shot with a colour test card. You can actually calibrate your monitor using such a test card or image, relative to your environment lighting conditions. And this is where the power of the PENTAX comes in by being able to view the last shot - like a Polaroid 669 test print - select different white balance settings, custom image modes and tweaks, and so forth and then save as a new image to RAW.

Kobie I need to use espourse compensation more than I do I usually correct in post processing for uneven lighting instead of doing it in camera like I should be doing. I did use it in Yosemite as I encountered a lot of uneven lighting and I had the time to adjust for it

It's most likely a menu item under the "C" heading. That, or it's in the Playback/display or Live View options.

Turn off focus peaking.

..I turned it off, but it didn't help!... Finally, I went into the screen settings again and, going deeper into the menu, it turned out that I had it turned off by accident! it is working now :)

As far as I can tell, the only twist, (difference) in your clips as compared to other KZbin photogs content is your finger snaps… Sad.
