I turned sixty this year. I've always loved weather. I don't have any family so I'm always on the live streams. I watched all 9 hours which is the norm. I turned 75 in July this year, and have also ALWAYS been a weather fan. I live in N. Canton, Ohio and we don't get a lot of tornadoes, thank God, because they really frighten me. Like you, I only watch KZbin. But I lived in Georgia for 45+ years, and we got our share down there. 😮

The notable tornadoes: (my opinion) (THIS WILL GET UPDATED) 2:10:12 - A confirmed tornado on the ground SW of Penelope, TX. 2:22:10 - The strong tornado enters downtown Penelope, TX. 2:27:23 - An extremely large and strong tornado enters downtown Elba, NE. 4:02:55 - A confirmed tornado on the ground N of Lincoln, NE. 4:08:21 - A PDS tornado warning gets issued as a large, strong tornado is on the ground NE of Lincoln, NE, and SW of Waverly, NE. 4:50:18 - The same supercell produces a very large, deadly, violent wedge tornado, warranting a tornado emergency as this tornado causes catastrophic damage S of Waterloo, NE, and SW of Elkhorn, NE. 4:53:48 - The violent, wedge tornado enters the W side of Elkhorn, NE. 5:08:21 - The violent, wedge tornado enters the NW side of Bennington, NE. 5:30:41 - The still violent, wedge tornado crosses the NE/IA border into W Iowa.

I was in it. I was so caught off guard when the sirens started going off. It took a few seconds for my brain to even register that this all was really happening. It took me looking outside and getting the notification of the Tornado Warning on my phone for me to realize this was serious and I needed to find the cats, call my dogs and toss them all downstairs. My sister didn’t even believe me, she kept arguing until she checked the news herself and then started to help. It’s normal for tornados to happen all around us, and we get watches issues all the time but I’ve only ever had to go into my basement once or twice before. Even once in my basement I’ve never before had to gather all my pets and my family into the basement bathroom, which is the only place in the basement without a window, and anxiously listen as a tornado gets closer and closer to me. A tornado hasn’t gotten close enough to damage this property since at least 1950 as that’s the farthest back I can view records. I’m currently trying to figure out how close this one got, I current only have the knowledge that It was 3 minutes at one point.

This is the day this tornado hit the area of Elkhorn and Bennington I live close to both of those areas and it was scary I heard sirens my phone was going off then I look outside I got up on my deck and there it was it was a monster 😢

Tornado Warnings mean that a tornado has been spotted, so all of them. You're thinking of Tornado Watch, which is just the conditions being right for tornado formation.
