I remember staying up late on a school night to download ab kingdom on the day of its relase from some random apk site along with all the people on the ab network and the see the entire leaderboards being dominated by us. This was probably the best moment in 2023

Wow! Rovio are really screwing up here! They're getting closer to being a carbon copy of EA with their whole idea of trying to make as much money as possible. You'd think that the way to make as much money as possible would be to attract as many users as possible to their games. They're practically doing the exact opposite right now. Also, what's with the whole "Red being the only character in the franchise that people should give a shit about"? Who the hell came up with that agenda? Surely the fact that most people didn't pick Red would tell them that people care about the other characters as well (maybe even more so than Red). Still, great video!!

I’ve been a big fan of Angry Birds since my preteens. It was an integral part of my childhood and, if not the sole reason, a significant factor in my becoming a gamer. I only fell out of love with the franchise between 2014 and 2017 when I started taking an interest in other gaming franchises, namely Sonic, Minecraft, and Plants vs Zombies. While I enjoyed those franchises, there was still a part of me that yearned for Angry Birds to make a comeback. Even though I wanted to revisit the franchise, I kept telling myself that Angry Birds was long gone, and that I had made my choice and should just move on. That was until the announcements of Angry Birds Reloaded and the return of classic games. I was excited, believing that my childhood was coming back. It felt like seeing an old friend again after so many years. I genuinely believed that things would go back to the way they were, back to the good old days. But after seeing the awful state and eventual takedown of Rovio Classics: Angry Birds, I realized something. All that buildup back then, the release of Angry Birds Reloaded, the promise of bringing back 2012, it was nothing more than bait. It was nothing more than a ploy to get me invested in a franchise that was just Angry Birds in name only. Despite this, I still clung onto hope after hearing about SEGA’s plan to buy Rovio, but in the aftermath of the buyout, nothing changed. In fact, it got worse. It broke me. It felt like an important part of myself had just died. Angry Birds was the reason I became a gamer; Angry Birds was my childhood. To see the franchise become just a soulless brand hurts me. To be completely honest, I’m not sure what to do with the franchise anymore. Nothing will ever fill that void the same way as Angry Birds did. I just can’t keep going like this. I don’t know what to do anymore other than to just hope things will get better, despite them never getting better. I guess maybe it’s time to really move on. Find other things to enjoy. Will they ever fill the same void as Angry Birds? Definitely not, but I’ll keep on searching. In the meantime, I’ll go read some books, watch anime, maybe even complain about other franchises of declining quality. Who knows? As long as it brings me comfort, that’s all that matters.

Robin might suck… But honestly… The Fanbase is probably the worst part about this franchise… the fanbase just can’t make their mind up for what they like or not… Also nothing is wrong with Silver’s new design.

Can’t believe I’m about to say this, but, I highly doubt that The Angry Birds franchise will improve and probably will never be as good as it was ever again, even though Sega brought Rovio, the franchise is still not the same, of course lots of people don’t talk about the franchise anymore, not gonna compare to Sega itself, at least they did improved and they brought back the Sonic characters to their original personalizes in Sonic Frontiers and that game was enjoyable, and they announced that their bringing back the classic franchises and make new games, and I know they didn’t announce it yet, but I think they are remaking the Sonic Adventure games because of Sonic Movie 3. Unlike Rovio, Angry Birds will never be the same as it was in the Early 2010s Angry Birds nowadays is only good for nostalgia
