Well the taycan is not the mission e really. It shares major styling and promised performance but the interior, doors, and the rear changed a whole lot when making it to the production line. Also those wheels were very cool along with the headlights and those both did not make it to the production car. The headlights shared a resemblance but not the exact one

The IDX was actually supposed to go into production, but they pulled the plug on it thinking there wasn't going to be enough interest. I'm still mad AF at Nissan over that one.

Oh come on, the Pontiac stinger did inspire an actual car. The wonderfully ugly Aztek! It doesn't have a waterhose but it does have a cooler/console, removable seats, a tent among others. Check out Doug DeMuro's video on it. Honestly it makes me want one.

The Aztec was only ugly inside, asides the rattly late 90's plastic (those shifters that feel like they're running in molasses too), it looked fine. Shame no one respects them. I drove one once as it's my job, and loved the HUD and the general view from the driver's seat, but cigarette butts and sunflower shells coated the floor.

Most Toyota concept cars these days end up being made and shown in the production cars. Example: Furia, FT-86, Aqua, and maybe the FT-1??? Automakers should follow this method.

Lexus LF-LC made it into production as LC 500. It's really close.

Rilo Elton I forgot about Lexus, I saw the LF-LC last year in the Chicago Auto show. They previewed a white concept car with a leather tan interior which would be the LC-500, and a Dark metallic grey which became the LC-500h. Also the LFA concept came close to the production version.

There are several concept cars that made it to production looking similar to the original idea. Though the ones in my head right now I'd like to know more about because it's as if they knew it would go into production with a few minor tweaks. Like the latest Lincoln Navigator, the Plymouth Prowler, the PT Cruiser, the 2005 Ford Mustang, the Chevy SSR, Pontiac Aztek, Lincoln MKS, Toyota FJ Cruiser, just to name a few. Seriously, go look at all those cars concepts and see how they made it to production with just a few minor changes (some more substantial than others)

Not Robert well they only say"don't advertise your car with more than 276 hp" You can still produce a car with an hp higher than the agreement,as long as you advertise the car with the same or less hp than the agreed numbers That's what Nissan did with the r32,they can't de-tune the engine to match the number,so they advertised the car with only 276 hp when in reality it is making around 300 hp
