KyohiraMusic The gameplay was tough as nails, i still remember the part where you had to get drunk to piss on these rock solid guys to carry them to the 2nd floor and put them on a pedestal, it was a nightclub and i was so puzzled i basically spend like 5 hours trying what to do, oh man i refused to search it up, and then at the end when the boss was dodging all your attacks so frustrating

the1stMoyatia You do know what happened to rare? they got bought by Microsoft. Nintendo, for the sake of profit let Microsoft buy Rare off of them. You know what they do now? they make kinect games. The deal was if their games, Kameo and Live and Reloaded did well, they would have the freedom to do what they wanted. those games didn't do well and even though people really want to play Conkers Bad Fur day now and Microsoft have the Rights to re release the games online, they wont because they want to keep Rare as their favorite little Cash Cow. I know this because I'm on a games course, my lecturers worked at Ubisoft as a 3D modeler + Manager and the guys keep emailing back to each other about crap their job is. kind of sad really.

Nope, they just couldn't get along. In fact Conkers's the exact oposite of Banjo in the sense that he's more of an anti-hero with alcool problems etc... This would simply not do a good mix with Banjo's childish (no offense here) universe! Either way one of the characters would be completely out of place in a game like that. ;)

Aezgaroth Drakonis To be honest. I think it could work. My idea is that as these three travel around, conker with his lose sense of morals and banjo with his greed can make decisions along the way that benefit either one of them but hinder them in other ways. The reason this could work is because both of them are very sarcastic, even if one of them is kind of a doofus. picture banjo being the lead (most of the time) with Kazooie and conker acting as the angle and shoulder demons and depending on what tasks you complete will effect their judgement ultimately effecting the route banjo leads them. There could ultimately be 5 outcomes. 1. they all become friends and get back to their normal lives. 2. conker gets them killed on the way. 3. they all get back to their normal lives but hate each other. 4. banjo defeats conker. 5 . . . or their worlds merges and they chaotically ever after. This could be the scenario. An evil Glitch/Virus Lord invades the game world and trap conker, kazooie and conker in a glitch/virus tower, where they have to travel through portals, save their friends who have had their personalities swapped around (Banjo characters act like conker characters, conker characters are disturbingly friendly) and collect special parts so they can summon the aid of the programmers to remake their world, bring back berry, make another banjo game or all 3 things. I don't care what others say. This was the biggest downer ending ever. I mean, it's dark. Conker gets EVERYTHING... except what he really wanted. What he wanted could have been his, but now it's gone forever. Gone... Gone.

Conker's Bad Fur Day was literally one of the most memorial games I ever played as a kid. Back in the day the game was addicting, the story was amazing, and was highly controversial (especially considering it was on the Nintendo 64). The multiplayer game modes were some of the best I ever played, and my friends and I put MANY MANY hours into the multiplayer modes. I purchased and played the remake of the game on the Xbox, and it was just as good. This would be a series I would love to play on current gen consoles, I don't understand why more conker games were never made!

On the Rare Replay collection that was just released, there are some interview videos regarding Conker and a few other games. You have to unlock them though, by playing a bunch of different games. It gives you more insight into the minds of the creators. You might find enough info to make a new version of this video.

Today is March 5, 2021. On this day 20 years ago Conker's Bad Fur Day was released. This classic game became one of my favorites when I rented it and got a copy of it of my own for my 13th birthday later that year. This game is truly one of the best things out of the year 2001 in my opinion next to the D-12 album Devil's Night and Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. Ill always love this game and cherish it for the work of art it is. Not to mention the fact that it spoofs many of my favorite movies mainly A Clockwork Orange which will turn 50 this year. And while I was hit real hard by the games dark ending, it only made it more likable to me. I enjoyed both versions of the game as well. Both the 2001 N64 game and the 2005 Xbox remake, Live & Reloaded, although I would've love to have played the cancelled sequel as well. So with all that having been said, happy 20th anniversary Conker's Bad Fur Day. You truly are an unforgettable masterpiece.

The original Rare team should reunite and form a new company, call it Extinct. haha Then they can go about and work with Nintendo to make Donkey Kong games. They could also work by themselves to make spiritual successors to the Banjo and Conker series.

If you think Nintendo of America disowning the game was bad, in the UK they refused to publish it - even though it was made by a UK company! Thankfully, THQ published it for Rare instead of Nintendo so we still got it. Nintendo didn't want to publish it here because they thought that it wouldn't be suitable for a British audience - just goes to show how out-of-touch some corporations are with British culture. (It'd be nice if you could incorporate this info into the video, given that Rare is a British company.)

Why'd you give so much time to the remake portion of Live and Reloaded and only give one line about the multiplayer? The multiplayer was the main focus from the beginning; the original plan was even to just include a straight port of the original N64 game as a bonus, rather than outright remaking it (which the remake even references in the tutorial section).

Good history lesson for people that never heard of this game prior to the Xbox version. I remember playing this game when I was around 10 with my friend. Multiplayer was very addicting, all I remember is the beach level and my friend and I running around with katanas cutting squirrels head's off. Ah, good memories.

I find it offensive when people say most of Conker's fan base grew years after the games release. Even though thats probably true, I was one of the first people to grab a copy right off the shelf in 2001 when I was 10 years old lol Blockbuster was having a sale blow out of all their games because it was closing down. My mom blindly snagged a handful of games and BFD ended up being one of them. She never would have intentionally bought me that game if she just read the freakin front of the box and saw the beer in Conkers hand. lol I never thought there wouldn't be a game like it ever again.Too bad the sequel never came through. Luckily, Spark is upon is and Chris is voicing him again.

I remember when I saw a commercial for this game. It wasn't promoted much at all. I only recall only seeing the commercial super late at night. I was a recent high-school graduate when Conker's Bad Fur Day came out. I only knew of him because of Diddy Kong Racing (which I loved). I rented this game when it came out, but the crudeness wasn't for me. I kinda wish I'd gotten it anyway and gave it another shot.

That's not as bad as my experience. I remember Conker from Diddy Kong Racing and loved him. Then came the odd day where I saw a new game at my local video store, you can probably guess what that was. I was 11 years old at that time. I wanted to play it because it had Conker in it, and when I played it, I was shocked. It was insane and mind blowing, yet I loved it. But I knew if my dad caught me playing that, he would have been upset, so I sent it back. I now have the xbox remake and love it.

Yeah, I played the pocket version. I never knew about the uh... well the Conker everybody else thinks of. In fact, I was CONFUSED that everybody saw him that way.
