Devil Jin does make 4 cameo appearances in each characters endings Jin's Ending from Tekken 3 Tekken Tag Tournament Kazuya & Jun's ending & Jin's Tekken 4 ending but mid devil transformation it was the first time Devil Jin makes a playable character appearance in Tekken 5 & onwards but he plays very similar & different than Jin but devil jin plays like Tekken 3 Jin. I main Devil Jin since Tekken 5 I fully respect this character I grew up playing him back in the middle school years

Jinpachis devil powers came from spirits that possessed him, the origin of the electric powers the Mishimas have in general isn't really known yet, theory is that the bloodline either descends or was blessed by a thunder god, we might learn more in the Tekken 8 story

@Caliif I hope they expand more on this aspect of the lore in Tekken 8. If Heiachi was powerful enough to defeat his wife, who had the devil gene, survived an explosion of Jacks, pushed Kazuya to his limit, he is not an ordinary human.
