I think it would be cool to do a sort of WHAT IF, tekken game based on the devil gene and having made up story lines of characters endings who were taken and controlled by it or something similar and have a suped up version of them instead of the usual kazuya thing and have an alternate version and story based on that exactly. Think it would be quite cool and different and it would of course not be canon but would keep us entertained one way or another of an alternate universe?

No. No it shouldn't have. This is a culmination, a climax that has, intentionally or not, been built towards for decades. Having it early, without all this buildup, would have cheapened it immensely. Now I just hope it doesn't stay gone for the next games. If Kazuya and Heihachi stay dead, that's one thing. They friggin better. Angel Jin is too cool not to bring back somehow, and with Reina there, they even have an excuse to do it.

I have a theory that Reina is from the Hachijo family, the Mishimas do not have the Devil Gene, the Devil Gene originated from the Hachijo, maybe she is not even Heihachi's daughter, but if she is his daughter, Kazumi cannot be the mother, so Heihachi may have had a love affair with another woman from the Hachijo family, perhaps a cousin of Kazumi, or Kazumi's sister.

I am sorry but I have a problem with Reina transformation. If the devil gene come from Kazumi Mishima, it means that Heihachi kids can't have the devil gene in their DNA. That's why Lars doesn't have it. Reina is Heihachi daughter but it's impossible that she has the devil if she isn't Kazumi daughter as well. Am I wrong or is there another explanation?🤔 And I didn't like Angel Jin. It didn't work for me.

You may not like it but it’s been foreshadowed for decades now since tekken 4 for Jin anyway. If you have been playing for that long or go and play the old games the angel + devil concept has been ever so slightly hinted throughout the series but not really touch on, one of the best but more explainable foreshadows for angel jin is in Jins ending in tekken 4 when you see a white feather after he beats his father & grandfather and spares their life because again the purity of his mother, like it or not its apart of the story not an ass pull

What i didn't get was how Reina has the devil power now after the ending. Even if somehow Heihachi found another hachijo woman and impregnated her with Reina or she is some kind of experiment, where is she getting the power now as the source is now gone. Kazuya took and absorbed Azazel's soul from Zafina and then Angel Jin destroyed/purified that source with his purification (kazama) power. So there shouldn't be any devil gene people running around. I guess reina is talking her devil powers out of Harada's ass where he write all this BS from😅.
