This was really interesting to get a look at late settler history, great expert! It would be so wonderful to hear some of the history of who was living there before settlers. Treaty history and what are the responsibilities of both treaty partners might be its own series! Thanks for this, CBC’s way of doing its work allows for great insight and getting beyond just amygdala stimulating media. Citizen unity and active democracy gets so easily forgotten, this is so great to think about. I’m from Winnipeg and I’m inspired by the level of Edmonton citizens being tuned in to city planning history and issues.
