I quote from scientific publications of recent years, from the website of the Hungarian Research Institute: „The presence of the ancestors of today's Hungarians in the Carpathian Basin has been continuous for thousands of years" „A new database of 16,000 mitogenomes of 172 ancient and living populations has been created and investigated their connection system based on artificial intelligence method. The new algorithm recognizes all haplogroup correlations, regardless of the time of the process behind the correlation. A new methodological article has been published in the journal Molecular Genetics and Genomics by the researchers of the Archaeogenetic Research Center of the Hungarian Research Institute, the Department of Genetics of the University of Szeged, the Institute of Technical Physics and Materials Science." „The Carpathian Basin is an unbreakable unit Applying the method to the investigation of the former and present-day populations of the Carpathian Basin, the authors found that the vast majority of the present-day population is from a Copper Age (4500 BC-2800 BC) - Bronze Age (2800 BC-700 BC) can be traced back to a basic population, while immigration from the eastern steppe region seems to have had a smaller genetic impact on the population in the tenth-eleventh centuries." These data confirmed what the Hungarian chroniclers had already written, and some ancient writers also wrote such as Paulus Orosius, who wrote in the 5th century during the time of the Huns, that "...the Huns invaded Pannonia, but the people there call that country Hungaria." From this and many other data, it turned out that Paulus Orosius, who was a Roman writer, had already learned in 417 AD that the Hungarians were the natives here long before the Huns! And what some Hungarian archaeologists and anthropologists have also realized, especially in the last 120 years, that Árpád's people were very few compared to the population here, who stayed here even after the destruction of the Avars and welcomed Árpád's people as well! Archaeologist and historian László Gyula also came to the conclusion after several decades of research and excavations that Árpád's people found Hungarians in large numbers here in the Carpathian Basin, since in many places where Hungarian place names were already in the first descriptions, the so-called "conquerors" did not settle not even close! And archaeologist, historian and geographer Marjalaki Kiss Lajos describes the real origin of the Hungarians in a more comprehensible and concrete way in his work entitled "Historical Studies": „At the time of Árpád's occupation, the vast majority of Hungary, especially the eponymous but peasant population of the regions east of the Danube-Garam line - based on the geographical names of Anonymus - could not have been other than Hungarian, because since Slavic nouns denoting Bulgarian-Slavic and Czech rule in the 9th century are dwarfed by the mass of more ancient Ugric-Hungarian names denoting larger geographical objects. None of the river names with Hungarian names mentioned in Anonymus's gesta has yet been proven to have been called something else before! But this is not likely, because the Danube, Tisza, Szamos, Körös, Temes, Olt, Zala, Rába, Balaton, etc. are known from sources before the 10th century. our waters also kept their old names, although their shores were known from history as Dacians, Celts, Illyrians, Romans, Sarmatians, Germans, Huns, Avars, Bulgarians, Slavs and Hungarians. It should be noted that if the Hungarian-speaking common people had only come to our country with Árpád, then there would be no Hungarian vineyard names in our earliest certificates. And there are quite a few of them already. Who were the original inhabitants of Transylvania? The crown witnesses of this case are the river names. And the water names of the landscapes east of the Tisza, both in Anonymus and in Ortvay's two-volume collection of water names from Árpád's time, as well as the water names that have developed in the course of history and are still in use today, and which have been commonplace in the Hungarian, Transylvanian Saxon and Vlach languages, indisputably testify to Hungarian origin and Hungarian aboriginal population. Some examples: Szamos, Almás, Kapus, Sár, Körös, Tekerő, Tur, Maros, Poklos, Hölgyes, Hódos, Gyepes, Medgyes, Barca, Olt, Árpás, Hévíz, Sebes, Nádas, Kékes, Aranyos, Bodza, Homoród, Hideg, Lápos… Not one of the larger river names has a Vlach name, but they also use the same names as the Hungarians and Saxons. Witnesses of the primacy of the population, the river names thus testify to the certainty of Hungarian ancestry."

Here is the video in a nutshell: God created hungarians in his image using his own language then sent them down to earth to bless the rest of the world with knowledge and culture. The idea of Hungary was so popular that the world was not called "Earth" but rather "Hungária". Hungary then felt sorry for the rest of Hungária that didnt have hungarian blood in them and therefore couldnt speak the language of gods so to compensate they gave land to everyone, and thats why there are different countries and languages today.

The Aramaic word for God is "Alaha" too sounds familiar? 30:00 Written without the confusing vowels it is written A-L-H ܐ ܠܗܐ (alap-lamed-he) as found in Targum or in Tanakh (Daniel, Ezra), Syriac Aramaic (Peshitta), reduced from the Arabic original (of which Aramaic is a dialect continuum as will be explained) it is written in the Arabic script 'A-L-L-H' (Aleph-Lam-Lam-Ha) add an A before the last H for vocalization. The word God in another rendition in Hebrew ʾĕlōah is derived from a base ʾilāh, an Arabic word, written without confusing vowel it is A-L-H in the Arabic script, pronounced ilah not eloah. Hebrew dropped the glottal stop and mumbled it, aramic mumbled a little less and it became elaha. Infact both are written written A-L-H in Arabic, it is pronounced i in Arabic and not A because it is an Alef with hamza below (إ أ ) They are two different forms of Alef. And it mean "a god", it is the non definitive form of A-L-L-H, in which the Alef is without a glottal stop/hamza,(ا), but this kind of nuance is lost in the dialect continua. infact "YHWH" itself is an Arabic word as discussed by Professor. Israel Knohl (Professor of Biblical studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem) in the paper" YHWH: The Original Arabic Meaning of the Name." jesus as his name is often misspelled due to the lack of the ayin sound in Greek, which was rendered to Iesous, coupling the nearest sound to ayin, same letter found in 'Iraq', which sounds entirely different in Arabic form 'Iran' in Arabic, with the -ous Greek suffix that Greeks typically add to their names 'HerodotOS', 'PlotinUS', 'AchelOUS' and later mumbled into a J. The yeshua rendition of Isa (his name in the Qur'an) PBUH which is purported to be the name of Jesus is KNOWN to had been taken from greek. Western Syriac also use "Isho". Western Aramaic (separate from Syriac which is a dialect of Eastern Aramaic) use "Yeshu". Western Syriac has been separate from Western Aramaic for about 1000 years. And sounds don't even match up. Syriac is a Christian liturgical language yet the four letters of the name of Jesus «ܝܫܘܥ» [ = Judeo-Babylonian Aramaic: «ישוע» ] sounds totally different in West vs East Syriac, viz. vocalized akin to Christian Arabic, Hebrew, Aramaic «ܝܶܫܽܘܥ» (Yēšūʿ) in West Syriac, but pronounced more akin to Muslim Arabic Quran character name Isa in East Syriac «ܝܑܼܫܘܿܥ» (ʾĪšōʿ). The reason for this confusion is their dropping of phonemes. Only someone that has no idea what the letters are or how they sound would have a name ending in a pharyngeal fricative like the ayin, if it were to be used in a name it would have had to be in the beginning, thus the Arabic rendition is the correct one. An example in English is how the appended -d is a common error amongst the English pronouncing Gaelic names. The name Donald arose from a common English mispronunciation of the Gaelic name Donal. Just how it is with donal becoming donald and the two becoming distinct and the original being regarded as something seperate so too did Isa PBUH turn to Iesous turn to jesus and when they tried going back to the original they confused it for yeshua ( ysu is how it is actually written) for Isa PBUH ( 3'eysah ) Schlözer in his preparation for the Arabia expedition in 1781 coined the term Semitic language: "From the Mediterranean to the Euphrates, from Mesopotamia to Arabia ruled one language, as is well known. Thus Syrians, Babylonians, Hebrews, and Arabs were one people (ein Volk). Phoenicians (Hamites) also spoke this language, which I would like to call the Semitic (die Semitische)." -Before Boas: The Genesis of Ethnography and Ethnology in the German By Han F. Vermeulen. He was only half right though, Arabic is the only corollary to "proto-semitic", infact the whole semitic classification is nonsensical as will be shown. "protosemetic" Alphabet (28), Arabic Alphabet (28), Latin transliteration, hebrew (22) 𐩠 𐩡 𐩢 𐩣 𐩤 𐩥 𐩦 𐩧 𐩨 𐩩 𐩪 𐩫 𐩬 𐩭 𐩮 𐩰 𐩱 𐩲 𐩳 𐩴 𐩵 𐩶 𐩷 𐩸 𐩹 𐩺 𐩻 𐩼 ا ب ت ث ج ح خ د ذ ر ز س ش ص ض ط ظ ع غ ف ق ك ل م ن ه و ي A b t ṯ j h kh d ḏ r z s sh ṣ ḍ ṭ ẓ ʿ ġ f q k l m n h w y א ב ג ד ה ו ז ח ט י כ ל מ נ ס ע פ צ ק ר ש ת Merged phonemes in hebrew and aramaic: ح, خ (h, kh) merged into only kh consonant remain س, ش (s, sh) merged into only Shin consonant remaining ط, ظ (ṭ/teth, ẓ) merged into only ṭ/teth consonant remaining ص, ض (ṣ, ḍ/Tsad ) merged into only ḍ/Tsad consonant remaining ع, غ (3'ayn, Ghayn) merged into a reducted ayin consonant remaining ت, ث (t/taw, th) merged into only t/taw consonant remaining The reason why the protoS alphabet here is 28 and not 29, is because the supposed extra letter is simply a س written in a different position, but it was shoehorned to obfuscated. In Arabic letter shapes are different depending on whether they are in the beginning , middle or end of a word. As a matter of fact, all of the knowledge needed for deciphering ancient texts and their complexity was derived from the Qur'an. It was by analyzing the syntactic structure of the Qur'an that the Arabic root system was developed. This system was first attested to in Kitab Al-Ayin, the first intralanguage dictionary of its kind, which preceded the Oxford English dictionary by 800 years. It was through this development that the concept of Arabic roots was established and later co-opted into the term 'semitic root,' allowing the decipherment of ancient scripts. In essence, they quite literally copied and pasted the entirety of the Arabic root. Hebrew had been dead, as well as all the other dialects of Arabic, until being 'revived' in a Frankensteinian fashion in the 18th and 19th centuries. The entire region spoke basically the same language, with mumbled dialect continuums spread about, and Arabic is the oldest form from which all these dialects branched off. As time passed, the language gradually became more degenerate, Language; When one looks at the actual linguistics, one will find that many were puzzled by the opposite, that is, how the other "semetic" languages were more "evolved" than Arabic, while Arabic had archaic features, not only archaic compared to bibilical Hebrew, Ethiopic, "Aramaic" contemporary "semetic" languages, but even archaic compared to languages from ancient antiquity; Ugaritic, Akkadain. What is meant here by Archaic is not what most readers think, it is Archaic not in the sense that it is simple, but rather that it is complex (think Latin to pig Latin or Italian or Old English, which had genders and case endings to modern English), not only grammatically, but also phonetically; All the so called semitic languages are supposed to have evolved from protosemetic, the Alphabet for protosemitic is that of the so called Ancient South Arabian (which interestingly corresponds with the traditional Arabic origins account) and has 28 Phonemes. Arabic has 28 phonemes. Hebrew has 22, same as Aramaic, and other "semitic" languages. Now pause for a second and think about it, how come Arabic, a language that is supposed to have come so late has the same number of letters as a language that supposedly predates it by over a millennium (Musnad script ~1300 BCE). Not only is the glossary of phonemes more diverse than any other semitic language, but the grammar is more complex, containing more cases and retains what's linguists noted for its antiquity, broken plurals. Indeed, a linguist has once noted that if one were to take everything we know about languages and how they develop, Arabic is older than Akkadian (~2500 BCE). And then the Qur'an appeared with the oldest possible form of the language thousands of years later. This is why the Arabs of that time were challenged to produce 10 similar verses, and they couldn't. People think it's a miracle because they couldn't do it, but I think the miracle is the language itself. They had never spoken Arabic, nor has any other language before or since had this mathematical precision. And when I say mathematical, I quite literally mean mathematical. Now how is it that the Qur'an came thousands of years later in an alphabet that had never been recorded before, and in the highest form the language had ever taken? The creator is neither bound by time nor space, therefore the names are uttered as they truly were, in a language that is lexically, syntactically, phonemically, and semantically older than the oldest recorded writing. In fact, that writing appears to have been a simplified version of it. Not only that, but it would be the equivalent of the greatest works of any particular language all appearing in one book, in a perfect script and in the highest form the language could ever take. It is so high in fact, that it had yet to be surpassed despite the fact that over the last millennium the collection of Arabic manuscripts when compared on word-per-word basis in Western Museums alone, when they are compared with the collected Greek and Latin manuscripts combined, the latter does not constitute 1 percent of the former as per German professor Frank Griffel, in addition all in a script that had never been recorded before. Thus, the enlightenment of mankind from barbarism and savagery began, and the age of reason and rationality was born from its study. God did bring down the Qur’an, Mohamed is his Messenger.

@@ranro7371 The claim that the Aramaic word for God, "Alaha," is derived from Arabic or that Arabic is the original form of "A-L-H" involves several linguistic misunderstandings and oversimplifications. Let's break down the key points and address the inaccuracies: Aramaic and Arabic Relationship: While both Aramaic and Arabic are Semitic languages, they belong to distinct branches of the Semitic language family. Aramaic is much older than Arabic, dating back to at least 1200 BCE, while classical Arabic was standardized in the 6th century CE. Therefore, it's inaccurate to claim that Aramaic evolved from Arabic or that the Arabic word "Allah" directly influenced Aramaic terms for God like "Alaha." "Alaha" in Aramaic: The Aramaic word for God is indeed "Alaha" (ܐܠܗܐ), which appears in Syriac and other Aramaic dialects. This word is not "reduced" from Arabic but shares a common Semitic root "ʾ-L-H" (ʾlh), meaning "god" or "deity." Both Aramaic and Arabic, like Hebrew, trace their religious terminology to this root, but they evolved independently over centuries. Arabic "Allah": The word "Allah" (الله) in Arabic is a contraction of "al-ilah," which means "the God." It is not merely "a god" as claimed but specifically refers to the monotheistic God in Islam and pre-Islamic Arabian monotheism. The Arabic definite article "al-" differentiates "Allah" from the generic term "ilah," which means "a god." Hebrew "El" and "Eloah": The Hebrew word "Eloah" (אֱלוֹהַּ) and its plural form "Elohim" (אֱלֹהִים) are used in the Hebrew Bible to refer to God. These words share the same Semitic root "ʾ-L-H" but are not derived from Arabic. The suggestion that Hebrew "mumbled" the term or that it is a "reduction" from Arabic oversimplifies the historical development of these languages. Hebrew and Aramaic are older than Arabic and influenced it rather than being influenced by it. Pronunciation Differences: The distinctions between pronunciations in Aramaic, Hebrew, and Arabic-such as the different forms of Alef or Ayin-are natural phonological developments that occurred as these languages evolved separately. Claiming that one form (Arabic) is correct while others are corrupt or degenerate ignores the complex history of linguistic divergence in the Semitic language family. YHWH and Arabic: The claim that "YHWH" (the tetragrammaton for the Hebrew God) has an Arabic origin is highly controversial and not widely accepted by scholars. The divine name "YHWH" is of Hebrew origin and is linked to the verb "to be," signifying God's eternal existence. While some scholars, like Israel Knohl, explore possible connections between ancient Semitic cultures, it is a stretch to claim that "YHWH" is originally an Arabic word. Jesus and the Name "Isa": The name "Jesus" (Greek: Iesous) indeed underwent phonetic changes as it passed through languages like Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, and Latin. The Aramaic name "Yeshua" is the original form from which the Greek "Iesous" was derived. The Arabic name "Isa" found in the Qur'an is not a derivative of Greek but reflects a regional variation of Yeshua. Claiming that "Isa" is the correct name while "Yeshua" is incorrect oversimplifies the linguistic transformations of the name. Semitic Language Evolution: The assertion that Arabic is "the oldest form from which all these dialects branched off" is inaccurate. Proto-Semitic is the hypothetical ancestor of all Semitic languages, including Akkadian, Ugaritic, Hebrew, Aramaic, and Arabic. Arabic, though it retains many archaic features, is not the original form but a later development in the Semitic language family. In conclusion, while there are connections between Aramaic, Hebrew, and Arabic due to their shared Semitic roots, it is incorrect to claim that Aramaic or Hebrew terms for God are derived from Arabic. These languages evolved independently, and their similarities reflect common ancestry rather than direct borrowing or reduction. The argument also overlooks the chronological and linguistic complexity of Semitic language development.

Horthy is the embodiment of "history isn't black and white". He allied and conspirated with basically everyone to reach his goal of revising greater Hungary, but always tried to keep up his morals, doing the bare minimum to satisfy his allies. He supported Hitler's offensives, but helped Poland and refused to fight Yugoslavia, only advancing south after they were already defeated by the Germans. He formally became an anti-semite, but refused to kill any jews and blocked their deportations. I could keep going for hours with his shenanigans. This 4D chess game of his ultimately lead to him being overthrown and replaced by the Hitler loyalist Szálasi, but it was too late. It's estimated that Horthy saved 250,000 jews, more than anyone else in the entire world.

Horthy was controversial even among his peers. The commies hated him for obvious reasons, the Habsburg loyalists hated him for not allowing Karl to occupy the throne, the libs hated him for being a Habsburg loyalist and so on... he was a loyalist btw and regretted not reinstating Karl on the throne in his later years. purely personal opinion: a Habsburg on the throne could have prevented a commie takeover after WW2. You mixed up everything re. Mongol invasion. The Mongols attacked Hungary twice. First the country was unprepared and the Mongols although barely but won at Muhi. After that they indeed slaughtered half of Hungarians and Bela IV fled (not to the West but to the South to Trau - today Trogir - and the Mongols followed him all the way to Trau but could not capture him.) In the subsequent years the Mongols withdrawn from Hungary and Bela IV returned and ordered that every 10 setlement must build a stone fortress. So when the Mongols returned in a few years they devastated Poland again but Hungary hold them back and defeated them. It is debated even today that the subsequent collapse was due to their defeat in Hungary or the Kan's death, probably both together caused their collapse. Further, the Hungarian Anjous were not French but Napolitans, hence their interest in Souther Italy. etc. etc.

They destroyed all the siege equipment of the Mongols one by one, they killed them in heaps, the templars also helped. The Hungarian soldiers got a false intel that the king was dead, so they retreated to save themselves. But if this does not happen, the Mongols would have beeen repelled, perhaps even expelled from the country so the the Mongols did not kill half of the Hungarian population, Béla would not have had to fill the population with invited nationalities, and the Trianon territorial annexation would not have taken place either. This small thing that false intel changed the history of Hungary forever.

But the real reason this is longer than the Romanian video, is because this starts 15 million years ago with ancient Hungarian fish, like every good Hungarian schizo history.

Neat. Earned a sub from me. The few minor mistakes I caught: - Béla IV's fortifications fared well during the mongol raids, only they were few and far between, hence building more after they retreated. - Mátyás mingling with his subjects in cognito is nothing more than folklore attributed to a king who brought stability and prosperity to his subjects. - Franz Joseph instituting Austria-Hungary, not Ferdinand.

If there's anything I like about modern times, it is how a random foreigner guy can freely move to other countries, make amazingly unbiased videos of those countries, all this in one globally shared language that everyone can understand, and us on the internet (no matter where we are from) can finally take in each other's history a little bit better. I feel a bit sorry for those who couldn't understand the hungarian voice-over bits, those were hilarious, I loved them so much! But nonetheless, amazing video! :)

So far, this is the best Hungarian history video I've ever seen. I want to thank you for actually researching the topics. Especially with Horthy. Nice to hear you didn't call him a fascist dictator like most of these "historical" videos do. Absolutely top notch work. It's amazing how you managed to make it relatively accurate, funny and informative at the same time in that "short" time period. Greetings from Hungary. 🇭🇺

During the Qing dynasty some Altaic-speaking people used the ethnonym Honghuo'er (洪霍爾) or Honghai'er (紅孩兒) to refer to Turkey. Golden (1990:243), in a discussion of the origins and development of the Hungarians, argues: "Here they were again under Oghur Turkic (Onoghur) as well as Sabir, Türk and Khazar influence. All of these ethnonyms were reflected in the names by which the Hungarians became known in the eastern and western sources. Thus, Hungarian, hongrois, Ungar etc. derive ultimately, according to this theory, from Onoghur." The name Onoghur is believed to be composed of two Old Turkic words: on 'ten' and oghur (ethnonym) meaning "Ten Oghurs.'

@@krcsirke China didn't even exist at the time, when Siberian people (progenitors of Finns, Hungarians and others) were already separated from the proto-koreans and japanese, and it is even debated if this has happened at all and if we are in the same larger group of language family (Ural-Altaic). In which Finns and Hungarians are Uralic, and Koreans and Japanese are Altaic (both the Ural-Altaic connection, both Japanese and Koreans Altaic inclusion is debated).

@@fenrirr22 Wasn't there a study from the 2000's that Japanese and Hungarian DNA share really close similarities with each other?
@fenrirr223 ай бұрын
@@vane909090 We don't even share much DNA similarity with the tribes during the Pannonian conquest and that was a thousand years ago. Being a Hungarian is a cultural and linguistic identity, not a genealogy one. There isn't an easy-to-trace haplogroup that would connect us to the Japanese in any way. The ethnicities in Eastern Europe have the exact same DNA mixtures and the only differences are the actual share of the different haplogroups. We are so intermixed with our neighbors that we can't even show that we are relatives of the Finns and we don't have a sizable amount of N haplogroup which would show our Eurasian/Siberian origins. There are zero genes that would connect us to Japanese or Koreans. Obviously, it might have been different during the conquest, but not anymore. Japanese have C,D,N and O haplogroups we have none of them, while Finns have 60% N. We only have Western-European, Indo-European, slavic and some balcanic haplogroups.
