Leveque Tower --- Columbus, Ohio, one of the most iconic structures in this beautiful city. As a young man of Lancaster, Ohio, this beautiful structure "On A "Clear Cool Crisp Cloudless Winters day" may be viewed from the top of Mt. Pleasant (Approx. 30 miles by the way of a straight line "Birds Flight" ... COOL BEANS" to say the least!

When I was a little kid in the '60s, I was afraid to walk or drive by because I always thought the building would fall on me.

The tallest building in the world in 1927 was the Woolworth building in NY (791 feet), not the LeVeque Tower (555 feet)

I heard that too, went back, he quietly says "fifth" in there. Didn't stay 5th long, Chrysler and Empire went up just a few years later
