Another masterpiece of the Netherlands. Check out the wonderous works of the Limbourg brothers, who were famous Dutch miniature painters (Herman, Paul, and Johan) from the city of Nijmegen. They were active in the early 15th century ...

That "jaunty little hat"on the snail right at the beginning is one that Jews were compelled to wear to easily identify them. So, in that context, you may want to revisit the main text.

This is a great video. That is the name of the prayer book with the nun cat and snail? I would like to research it for my medieval manuscripts class final paper. I’m studying pigments and techniques and am creating a manuscript page. I believe this would be a great prayer book to create a page for
