A couple things to note: 1: The reason Mr. Torgue hated lasers is because they couldn't have the explosion element, a problem he manages to rectify by Borderlands 3 with the Torgue-brand Laser-Sploder. Probably a project that was already in the works before he was kicked out of his company. 2: When he does get kicked out, he says he'll just work for Moxxi "pro-boner." The Slaughter arenas in 3 are probably branches she owns that she let's Mr. Torgue run.

You forgot to mention that at some point between 2 and 3, he got into making explosive foods. He made a breakfast cereal which you can find boxes of, and if you melee them, you hear an electric guitar riff and some of the cereal bits fall out and fizzle in a series of tiny explosions. In Handsome Jackpot, you're given a side challenge to destroy some explosive hot sauce bottles to prevent a lawsuit.

@@katchupmachined1914 So from what I've read, Maya is the only one they just kind of thrown in as asexual. The reason for that is they had a fan or a developers family member mentioned there were no asexual characters in gaming, so the developers made Maya canonically asexual since she was the only one of the main cast that had yet to express any specific sexual desires. Acton actually was originally planned to be a straight character. However when borderlands 2 released it was discovered that one of his voice lines was bugged. It was supposed to be a flirty line he only says when resurrecting downed female vault hunters. However due to the bug it played for all of the vault hunters. Instead of patching it they decided to just roll with it and have Axton confirm Axton's bisexuality in bunkers and badasses. For Mr. Torgue the only in game evidence was a supposed line he says when you talk to him while he's in the gallows in the bunkers and badasses dlc stating he likes anyone (or something along those lines) however I've never experienced that line myself.
