I agree with the more variety in characters and orientation, just don't think anyone should be exempt from being a punchline at times, look at catherine one of the most well written characters and with one of the most realistic aspects of Erica being how she handled the jokes and confrontational wording, that they removed those things from full body took away from her character. Instead of showing she could brush off jabs by friends or respond in kind when they went too far they removed it and took away from her character and personality, the original scene showed greater growth and depth as those situations happen in real life and displaying that she was strong enough to deal with them is a better overall more realistic representation than wrapping her in cotton wool.

I do not get how you can enjoy strange journey's music. It's horrible imo. Bland doots all game.

I dunno about that, it's got a lot of wartime orchestral influence and there's not really any good cinematic comparisons. I'd love to know what you'd compare it too if it's bland for you. Especially Scepter of Justice it's such a great romantic piece. SJ music to me sounds like a precursor to Catherine because its the same tonally.

@@Larrue I haven't played Catherine myself but I agree with you on SJ's music. SJR was the 1st SMT I got and the threatening, broody orchestral music really helps set the tone of being a group of Earth's best exploring a hostile world hellbent on killing them. The Fear Of God is probably one of my favorite battle themes, ever. An Honor Befitting That Name is also great with the orchestral royal theme giving it a feeling that you're in a dance with death itself when you hear it. I don't get how someone could NOT like Strange Journey's music personally

@@MakoTenseii Meguro did not use contemporary musical elements. Instead, he created a more mature experience to reflect the game's story and setting. Ishida did not request a specific musical style, but instead asked Meguro to create the game score as if the game were a motion picture. From the wikipedia of the game.
