I had the pleasure of playing Terranigma for the first time last year and it’s become one of my favorite games of all time. I can’t wait for you to get to that entry specifically cause I, like many others, consider it Quientet’s magnum opus. Up there with ff6 and chrono trigger for me.

I just finished playing through Robotrek recently, so Terranigma’s next on my list. I also can’t wait to get to it - there’s a ton to talk about

Soul Blazer! Quite sad that the whole trilogy is not on NSO (Nintendo Switch Online) 😢

The magic is mostly just useful in specific situations where you can fire on enemies from far away... that said, the first two spells are very much the most often useful. Also, that soundtrack slaps. The wild thing is that the songs are so different, but the instruments used to make them are so much the same. Ugh, I wish i could experience it for the first time again! Thank you for posting this!

Ah, the next is "Illusion of Gaia". I hope you mention in your video its European debut, which had the slightly different title "Illusion of Time". I recommend you to research a bit about it, since it was a pretty big deal. It received a hefty amount of marketing material, and it was used by the then recently form Nintendo of Europe to spearhead the popularization of Japanese RPGs in the Old Continent (albeit they didn't call them "Japanese", just "RPGs", period). It even came in a huge box which contained a pretty long and detailed guidebook, similar to what "Earthbound" received in the US.
