Master Pierce Rayer was born in the 0050s and was drafted into the Earth Federation Army in his early 20s as the One Year War was beginning, He graduated in UC 0079 as a Lieutenant Junior Grade, and was later assigned to the White Dingo mobile suit team operating in desolate Australia as team leader, He was formed friendships with fellow teammates Leung Lee-Fai and Maximilian Burger, and formed a fierce rivalry with Principality of Zeon ace pilot Visch Donahue & His name Master P. Rayer is a pun similar to Yuu Kajima's name This time Master P. Rayer is a pun of "master player", intended for the player of the game

This was also my first Gundam game I ever played. Same as you, I played it when I was around 5 or 6 not even knowing what Gundam was. It's what solidified the White Dingo unit as my favorite Earth Federation team in Gundam ever.

Also my first and favorite gundam game When this came out on Dreamcast I had already seen Gundam wing so when I played this I was like what is this? This isn’t anything I know of concerning gundam.

Thanks to the original Rise from the Ashes Dreamcast game and Gundam Wing I became a huge Gundam fan. A cool trivia, the lead devs of Gundam Rise from the Ashes worked on the old Gundam Blue Destiny Saturn game. Rise from the Ashes was a refinement of the concepts they put out in the Blue Destiny game. Sadly this type of FPS semi simulation gundam game was never done again and all future gundam games became third person games or games like SD Gundam

Dreamcast... I broke my mouse clicking the like button! RfA takes place, in my backyard. Man I loved this game back in the day! The story of Australia in UC is pretty damn tragic I love it when they use it as a backdrop for content. Like the Torrington base north of the Sydney crater... Or, your know, the Sydney crater... Staircase to the moon is a northern Australian thing (tropical climate) most well known on the North West coast in my old hometown of Broome, but also visible on the east coast in northern Queensland and some parts of the Northern Territory. It's a tidal effect seen when the moon is Full and rises over the water at an extremely low tide with it's light reflecting in such a way it looks like a set of stairs connecting to the moon and the sky.

Thanks for the explanation. Never understood the bioweapon Asteroth in the game and if I didn't shoot down that helicopter. I originally thought Og Gundam lead to Gundam wing because the final level lead to you sparing the kids at the HLV launch site.

I love the GM, Sniper, GM Cannon and the Guncannon Mass production type cause they can carry some great fire power and special attack.

Howdy, Im a pretty big fan of this game. Would like to point out that there were 2 light novels made but never translated and brought to any other markets, and a 4 volume manga adaption. There is also a bonus disc that is japanese exclusive with a simulated battle with the gundam and guncannon and guntank. Has bonus art and music galleries as well. Uou need a original japanese copy of the game and a cleared save file to use it though. Also the ex iptions have to be downloaded to vmu. There is a bandai the best version with the simulated battle included but lacks the galleries.

I know that I'm writing this in the early parts of Gundam Evolution's life cycle, but I really do hope that the GM will get a White Dingo color scheme (Any rep would be great to see). Great video, helped to contextualize where this side story fits in with the One Year War timeline!

I love that game and still have it for the Dreamcast. I think it's the cockpit view that makes the game special to me and why the GM mobile suits are may favorite. I think I found all the secrets in the game after playing it so much. Needs a full remake.
