I love Sakura no Uta. From the moment I discovered it in the beatmap listing I have fallen for this song harder than I have for anything else. From the moment I wake up to the moment I sleep, I listen to Sakura no Uta. While I dress, while I eat, while I sit at work in the monotone of the office. I listen to it. I come home from work every day listening to it and walk into my home in my bland living room and trek to my room where I have decorated the walls, ceiling, and floor in the imagery of the backgrounds of all the Sakura no Uta beatmaps. Every night before I go to sleep listening to Sakura no Uta I sit in front of my Sakura no Uta shrine and pray to it. I pray to it to let me always hear Sakura no Uta wherever I go as I continuously turn up the volume till it is loud enough to burst my eardrums rendering me unable to hear but the ringing echoes of Sakura no Uta in my ears. After that, I lay in my Sakura no Uta-themed blanket, comforter, and pillows. Finally, as the ringing in my ears fades and I can hear Sakura no Uta clearly once again I lay down to sleep once again drifting blissfully into a sleep full of Sakura no Uta where I dream the same dream of being able to marry the physical embodiment of Sakura no Uta and make love to it. Ah how I love Sakura no Uta. For how glad I am that I discovered it and have #1 on all the maps. Oh how I love Sakura no Uta

I miss Sakura no Uta, ever since the DMCA incident it has been so silent. I no longer wake up to the beautiful sounds of Sakura no Uta, now it's just quiet and silent. ! get up out of my bed and walk through the silent halls, devoid of heaven's greatest song, where I sit and eat a bowl of wheat flakes in silence, get ready for my dull workday, and make my way there in the silence that is a Sakura no Utaless world. Hello! This is a veto. I'm not satisfied with the response to #3544889 this, and I feel the concerns are more than valid enough to warrant change here. I imagine further discussion of this topic isn't going to change your mind regarding this, hence the veto. To reiterate my concerns and expand on them a bit more: I think this set is content bloat. The top 6 difficulties of this set mapped by the host are essentially the same thing, with mostly negligible spacing and density changes. Sytho's difficulty benefits from being in a distinctly different style from the other difficulties, and is thus not problematic in this instance (although it is pretty much the exact same thing gameplay-wise). To be more specific, the only notable differences across each of these six difficulties are the rhythms used (some areas use negligible rhythm differences that don't affect how each difficulty plays -- see 00:09:980 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - this in "Years Of Your Beatmaps I Can't Undo" and 00:09:980 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - this in the Extreme as an example of this), the density of the stream section starting 00:38:216 here (i.e. adding more circles and less repeat sliders as the spread progresses), and spacing changes. None of these changes create noticeably different experiences for players. Furthermore, despite the differences in rhythm and spacing, the difficulties end up feeling the exact same regardless, as the mapping style used is identical across all of them. I can think of three solutions to fix this issue, though there might be others: 1) Remap some of the difficulties so that each feel like they give a unique experience. You can accomplish this in a variety of different ways, including using wider angles for jumps and using various rhythms that are noticeably different (i.e. the stream section in some difficulties could instead have kicksliders follow the vocals, such as 00:39:980 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - here in the Extreme difficulty), just to name two. 2) Get guest difficulties instead. This wouldn't necessarily solve the issue of the set feeling the same gameplay-wise depending on who you ask to map, but it would at least make the set much more varied in style. 3) Delete difficulties. If you go this route, I would delete the Extra and either one of the Extreme or "Years Of Your Beatmaps I Can't Undo" difficulties -- though I'd recommend deleting both. I understand that content like this has its place in the ranking system and would be fine with this progressing if what I find problematic is addressed (namely, the amount of difficulties which play and look the same); as it stands currently, I don’t think this is acceptable for ranked.
