I dont think he overcame mrekk’s dominance. He only overtook him in the leaderboards. Mrekk has set so many crazy scores that akolibed cant replicate. There are also some scores from akolibed that mrekk cant replicate. But i think mrekk has a higher count of those. (I am not trying to trash talk akolibed. This was the most respectful i could be while giving my own views. Akolibed is also a really accomplished player. His speed skills are above and beyond any LEGIT speed player.)

in terms of influence, cookiezi is arguably the greatest, but mrekk also has a LOT of influence. he's the only player who has broken 100 1ks, the first player (non-TD) to get the 10* medal, had like 90% of 1.3ks, had the biggest pp gap (3K), and more.
