I think 2002 or 2004 would be perfect for me (maybe not 2003 since the SARS outbreak was taking place). At the time TIBS still existed, there was a mix of old SBS and new SBS Transit liveries, I can ride my favorite SBS Transit bendy buses on service 18 again, and there was TV mobile in the buses.

You forgot to mention that SMB222L has been scrapped in 2016. And I think SG4001J has been deregistered in 2017.
