The Prequels just have so much memorable moments especially Anikan not liking Sand! Overall for serious note here the Prequels added so much world building,build upon the lore,made the Clone Wars to add onto the Prequels,and the Lightsaber duels were so beautiful to watch! Seriously no one mentions the fights that much.

The prequels are my fav trilogy despite some of their flaws, but as a trilogy it would be second after the OT. The sequels, I would definitely place it dead last. The sequels did nothing but invent a ton of plot holes, divide the audience even more, and recycle content from the franchise’s glory days. They even didn’t have a planned story. Everything was rushed, unplanned, and completely pointless. Meanwhile the prequels, despite their flaws on the CGI and dialogue, they had really good writing and world building. While the OT mentioned events from the prequels, the prequels showed the events on the big screen, and although it divided some of the audience, it still stayed strong in the box office. The lightsaber choreography was brilliant and the best fight was Anakin vs Obi-Wan. Plus, the characters of the prequels are much more relatable and better written than a lot of the new characters from the sequels. Such as… Anakin is much more relatable and better written than Rey. And the prequels, unlike the sequels, they don’t waste appealing characters like the sequels did. Jar Jar is kind of an overhated character, but at least he is the “key to all this”, and ofc Darth Jar Jar is better. And Finn was pretty appealing in the beginning of the force awakens, but they butchered his potential further into the trilogy by making him a side character that barely even does anything. It’s like the sequels don’t even know how to even handle their characters. And as I said before, while my favorite trilogy is the prequels, I’d say in terms of quality, the OT is a bit better with the prequels as a close second.

The sequels are literally a low budget version of the OT, the prequels aren't perfect. But I love the prequels. I grew up with them, so I will be a bit biased to them, but the sequels are genuinely fucking horrible 💀😭

The first two Star Wars movies were successful because they appealed to the general audience. From ROTJ to ROTS weren't as successful because they appealed mostly to kids, as was evidenced by the follow up cartoons which also appealed mostly to kids. TFA was a HUGE hit because it once again, brought Star Wars back to the general audience. TLJ was not as successful because it was not the movie prequel and eu fans had written in their heads. TROS was not very successful because it did not appeal to fans of TLJ. Rogue One was successful because it had a cool ending. Solo was not successful because it was boycotted by fanboys who were still butthurt over TLJ. 😅

The reason why fans hate the sequel trilogy and critics like it is because us fans have been fans for nearly are entire lives, and the critics like the sequels because there not true fans and don’t understand. And it’s very disrespectful to us Star Wars fans, I wish I could go back in time and stop George Lucas from selling LucasFilm to that very Evil company called DISNEY

I think the only part that wasn't covered for the Prequels was the internet influence. Because the perception is that most either hated the Prequels or it was split right down the middle which just isn't true. Most liked the Prequels, kids and adults. But just like the OT there were a side group that hated them, thought they had poor dialogue, special effects, and acting. Again, that happened for the OT as well. (During the filming of Phantom Menace, Lucas famously wore a shirt with a review of the OT calling those bad films) The influence of groups like The People vs George Lucas/the losers who sang "George Lucas r@ped our childhood" and the hacks at Red Letter Media really made it popular to bash the Prequels. It was the cool thing to do. They tore the Prequels apart with very inaccurate false "facts" and nitpicks. Then they got many copycats like Stuckman, Nostalgia Critic, Cosmonaut etc. The dialogue really isn't that bad. I mean all the Ep2 Padme and Anakin stuff are coming from a teenager, who was a slave for most his childhood, and indoctrinated into a cult of monks, taught to supress his emotions. So he's socially awkward and literally doesn't know how to filter himself. (We all know someone like that)
