Air Nomads is the collective term for the monastic order of men and women who practice the discipline of airbending and their seclusive, theocratic society. One of the four major nations, the Air Nomads were wanderers by definition, but had four air temples, one at each corner of the globe, hidden away atop mountain ranges and under cliffs, in the northern Earth Kingdom and on three remote islands. Unlike the other nations, the people of the Air Nomads were, without any seen exception, all benders due to the high level of spirituality of their people.

If you have never watched Legend of Korra, I recommend it. At first I didn't want to watch because they skipped so much time and how Aang passed away etc.. But I decided one day I was just gonna give it a chance as it's own story. It was a lot better than what I thought it was going to be and ended up getting hooked to the show just like I did with the Last Airbender. Give it a chance

I don't really like the way they change the Asian traditional culture background in ATLA to 90s or 80s European era, maybe I am just not used to that style. But I try to accept since it is necessary to give y'know "more advanced or modern" era. I also don't like in LOK they put so many politic and government stuff. And the more I watched it the more I feel the rushed the animation. It feels like everything turns out so quick that I can't get attached to the story. I am finished the book one and it's quite nice. On the books two now, I hope it's getting better

I feel like an avatar myself. Inham to fight multiple enemies with their own ideologies which were good in their own respect. Defeating them, but suffering from the worst possible effects from it, from losing my own identity to suffering from the biggest fears I can handle. Close to doing suicide since I thought I wasn’t able to handle it anymore. But I rose up to be stronger than ever. Uniting emotions and thoughts, saving myself from a war in my head. Creating a new portal between reality and my imagination. Never i have been so much in balance, thanks to my friends and myself. Still recovering from the fear of the future. But that is the only remaining fear and problem i still have, that was 1 of the many. The needed to search for help from others has declined, since I learnt to love myself. Giving myself the confidence to solve my own problems The scene where korra saved kuvira specifically hit close to home. Kuvira is my autism. Korra (my happiness and other positive feelings) saved it from its own destructive powers, because killing parts of myself isn’t worth it. I have to live with full balance, and never kill one of the bad things. We only can help eachother learn to not make the, bad anymore

He's also surprisingly Martial, having great fondness for the Military and has shown interest in becoming a Military Leader like his Uncle. I actually think he'd probably make an amazing commander of the Air Nation's Militia as an adult. Having the sense of Humor Air Benders are often famous for, the seriousness of Military life, and a brilliant mind. that combination would make him a very effective and likely popular Commander.

0:58 I really like how the ancient Air Nomads’s Tattoos looked. I like how they’re similar but different!! The one thing about the change that I’d love to know is why the ends of the Tattoos went from a fancy, upside down T shape to an arrow. considering all avatars have the ability for all bending. id assume the avatar would've been born from a non bender with airbender history. like how kyoshi could've also been the avatar in the air portion of the cycle, but instead took from her father and classified as earth tho she was both. or how aang had 3 children one being a non bender, one water and one air. if the harmonic convergence never happened the way it did, it was likely both his sons would have air bending children and one of them wouldve had to be the next avatar. it's believed Ty Lee had air bender history due to her look and general personality. the cycle would've continued in a way like that.

Okay, I’m not gonna lie, but it just feels so weird that after harmonic convergence, all of sudden airbending just so happens to conveniently return to the world, like I don’t understand why airbending was the specific element to return, like it just seems way too much like a plot hole. Like personally, I think the Air Nation is Lowkey lit, but like when random people started gettin random airbending, why didn’t some people also receive water, fire or earth. It just seems too convenient for air to somehow return, but idk

The way I saw it, since Korra (Raava) beat Vaatu, light will envelop the world for the next 10,000 years. Since Korra left the portals open. The light energy spread to the physical world and sensed an imbalance which it then corrected. Even tho not stated, I believe every nonbender with air nomad lineage in their family tree was given the airbending ability, this theory is helped by the fact that Bumi was given the ability to airbend. Since airbenders were nomadic I'm sure through the centuries some procreated with the other nations. They only focused on gathering air benders from the Earth Kingdom at first because it is the largest Nation and has a lot of ground to cover.

Simple Answer, Harmonic Convergence bring back balance to the world because there are few Airbenders, the result of harmonic Convergence is giving the non-benders the ability of Airbending not all non-benders get the Airbending.

true, but getting airbending would be much more amazing than getting any other element since there was only 5 airbenders during that time. They probably wouldn’t put that people got the other elements out there as much as airbending. but thats just my opinion
