Once again, smashing it out of the park. Never heard of this babe of a bridge before, love learning about it. Honest, you guys are awesome. Love hearing and learning about lesser known (atleast, over here in the land of Aussie) monuments, landmarks, and sights of... well... history. Bloody loving it lads, keep up the amazing work!

A great and pretty comprehensive summary of the history of all the nonsense that led to the birth of Brunel's beautiful bridge. I was lucky enough to cross the Clifton Suspension Bridge every day on my way to school. The one bit of history that you didn't mention was that it was the site of the birth of the Dangerous Sports Club and accordingly the origin of Bungee Jumping which we now see all around the world.

Hey, I know this channel focuses more on European history but, would you guys be interested in covering Brushy Bill Roberts in a future video? For those who don't know, Oliver P. "Brushy Bill" Roberts was a historical character that became popular in the late-1940s and early-1950s for claiming to be the infamous American outlaw Billy the Kid.
