Hey dude, you missed a few things: The T/A was a package on the Highline, much like the A66 340 package (it would be an R/T option in '71), it carried a JH23 prefix, and 1411 T/As came in automatic. That fourth trim level was the Jx29 Special Edition! In '71, the Deputy was rumored to have its own vin trim level, the JL21, I've never seen one. The '72-'74 cars also got their taillights from the Diamante show car. Well done, my dude!

Fantastic video man! I just bought a '21 Scat Pack Widebody (my first new car in 26 years of driving), and it was great to learn a bit of its history. As a lifelong gearhead, I knew the Challenger's broad strokes, but you definitely filled in the details with the Ken Burns treatment here. I sure appreciate what must have been the ton of work that went into this.

This is an EXCELLENT video! I've been a MOPAR man since I was a kid, having a huge crush on Challengers in high school when Cudas were more popular. I always thought the Challenger had sexier lines, and the snorkel scoops was the shit! Late 70s early 80s you could find them for about $500. to $800. in good running condition. I think the yellow turn signal "head lights" may be a nod to us old school guys. We had no neon or LED, just yellow fog lights. Long before neon came along, we'd mount yellow fog lights behind grill, or under grill facing the ground to light the road like a yellow "red carpet". I also made custom "shades" or black out light covers for any car. I was given a not running 67 Barracuda for repairing an elderly woman's Mercury wagon in my 20s! Also love Dodge trucks. Great video, thanks for keeping music tasteful and lower volume than your voice, some people don't know if they want to be a DJ, or talk about the subject. Please do one, if you have not already, on AMC: JAVELIN, AMX, SRAMBLER, and AMC/JEEP EAGLE WAGON and 4X4 AMX. And if possible, all HURST cars, like early 70s Pontiac Gran Prix, 75 Oldsmobile Cutlass, and all others. THANK YOU!

Good job fam. I saw 1 hr video length, and said this can't be the typical bs on here where the uploader disguises their lack of knowledge with music and flashy edits. I was not disappointed. Keep it up.

That 59 2-door post looked like a good bargain for the time.

Those of us that were car guys in the 60s and 70s had access to these great cars when they were used and cheap. Mine were a Charger and 70 Mark Donohue Javelin...the car I most regret selling. But back then they weren't so valuable.
