Thanks I was one year old when this ran. My parents went to this I am so glad they got a chance to do this as my mom is a big disney fan

Yep I was there I was in the 6th grade at Dover Shores Elementary School in Orlando

I went when I was 5 years old, my dad took me to the preview center on 'opening day' of the center, than got me up at 5 AM for opening day of the park itself. He tried hard to get me there as the 1st kid in the place, but I was I believe #17 and others beat us there. I also made Epcot and Disney/MGM's opening day but work kept me from having a perfect record with Animal Kingdom's opening day.

Even in 1970 @ $500,00.00 was a lot of$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. but, worth it! glad building still being used. unlike bldgs. torn down @ Epcot!!!!!!!!!!!
