Okay, this is sort of off topic, but I've been trying for YEARS to find proof Sing Me A Story with Belle existed because I remembered seeing it as a kid but couldn't remember the name! Even before the BATB remake searching "live action Belle" yielded nothing, just park pictures. I was starting to think I dreamt it, so seeing it mentioned here blew my mind!

For the original ride, it was implied the hatbox ghost was her groom but his head was not disappearing the right way so he was removed, leaving her alone so she had to have a new backstory created

I liked this movie as a kid but not now. The biggest issue I have is that the movie is very tonally inconsistent. It can't decide whether it wants to be funny or serious. Nothing against Eddie Murphy but he was very miscast in the role. The Haunted Mansion movie we should have gotten instead. Instead of being released in 2003 it would have been released in October of 1999. The movie would be rated PG-13 for Intense Violence, Language, Frightening Images, And Mild Suggestive Material (Unlike Pirates of The Carribbean it actually earns the PG-13 and takes advantage of it). I like the story at 11:11 best. It’s so simple but packs so much in. A very spooky story and it fits within everything you see in the actual attraction.
