@@prestonjones1653 The first time he's trapped in a valley by an army of Orks, does what looks like a heroic self sacrifice and then disappears from the satellites the guard high command was watching his progress through. So they call it his last stand before he reappears having defeated the Ork warboss in single combat. He hates that the name has stuck, but still decided to have his next desperate last stand, when he defended the planet from a chaos invasion assisted only by a handful of old teachers and half a dozen commissarial cadets, at the exact same site. That, by the way is how the universe sees him, his own view on the stories in question are a lot less positive.

So, about the Alpha Legion being sent to get the White Scars, Alpharius sent a frigate to blockade Chogoris. Then, while the White Scars were debating if they were attacking or not, Another Alpharius sent a squad to destroy a radar jammer so the White Scars could hear a message from Rogal Dorn about the Heresy. Then Alpharius orders the blockade to stand down and see what happens, I guess.

I've always said that all the Primarchs are intelligent, the majority are smart, and a few of them are cunning, but only the Khan is wise. You see the Khan in every appearance, and ironically for being the leader of the speedster legion, he is always deliberate and takes his time gathering the most information available to not make any rash decisions. He is also the Primarch who most clearly sees the flaws of both the Emperor and his Imperium, which comes off as untrustworthy to other Primarchs (in fact, Horus thought he was a shoe-in to join the Traitor side during the Heresy). However, he is RIDE-OR-DIE for mankind, and just as he could clearly see the flaws of the Emperor and the Imperium, he also saw that it had good ideals behind it, and it was a matter of living up to those ideals, while he CLEARLY saw Chaos was full of shit, so his loyalty to the Imperium is easily the most admirable and relatable. He is not a blind follower, he is a stoic leader who genuinely wants to serve and improve humanity's lot. I legit adore the Khan and the White Scars, and I really wanna see them get the spotlight in upcoming lore. They have so much upside.
