I have a story loosely involving toby. When I was 2 years old staying at my grandparents house, my grandpa was mowing the lawn when a cat jumped on his back. It was brought inside and since toby was my favorite character at the time I named the cat toby. Yeah the cat was a girl.. so now a girl cat named toby lives at my cousin's house.

Dudes, last Wednesday I got the perfect idea for the next custom: a WW2 toby and/or mavis. Just think about it: toby, with full titanium plating along the sides of his wood pieces and on his roof, a front plate with breathing and seeing holes for him to see, a battering ram, trailing behind him som wagons with side plates and cow catchers. Mavis would have the same armour arrangement, only the cab is covered as well as the section covering her engine. Her face is covered by bandages held up to her face by bolts and screws. She would trail behind toby.

Toby and Edward were my mom's favorites, and when I mentioned Toby's model was stolen, she was horrified. Then I showed her the state Edward's model was in, and she was like "Ok I still don't like it, but I really hope whoever has him is doing a better job than that manor." A funny story involving Toby was when I was 3 and was listening to Toby's theme, my dad got a phone call from an older gentleman that was trying to call his niece. We have the same area code, but dad didn't know her. The man apologized and they hung up. A bit later, he called again and dad thought "Ah great, he dialed the wrong number again." But then when he answered it, the guy said "I'm very sorry, but you're American right? That song I hear in the background sounded like a nursery rhyme I listened to when I was growing up in Germany." Dad of course explained it's the theme for a character in a show about trains his son loved. They laughed at that, and hung up again. So Toby has a special place in our hearts.
