I love Ghostbusters! I still think it's crazy Ernie Hudson wasn't allowed to voice his own character in The Real Ghostbusters.

It's not like they didn't allow him, Arseneo Hall just got awarded the part over him haha. Apparently those doing the casting didn't care or didn't know that he was the real life Winston

I love how Winston is now a fundamental part of the story: He bought the Firefighter building, made a new research center for the Ghostbusters and I feel like he was to 'Afterlife' what Andrew Garfield was for 'No Way Home'.

He is my favorite Ghostbuster just for the one line that I use and I'm a white guy. "I've seen shit that would turn you white." The delivery on it, timing was perfect. He was the every guy off the street. The new movies might not be the best but it's nice seeing that he's the one sane, rich, cool character.

His "Sorry..." right afterwards really sells the line too. He was absolutely sincere but realized that he also crossed the line a bit and had to walk it back.

I got a cameo from him, any time I'm playing my ghostbuster games, I can't help but want to see it. You can truly say, he had the tools and he had the talent.

I had a random thought during a recent rewatch of the first movie - if the Ghostbusters were such pop celebrities in New York City, why was Winston the only person who responded to their help wanted ads? You would think that there would be a line of applicants stretching around the building by the time Winston applied.

If there's ever a reboot, Winston should definitely be the team historian, who specializes in New York's past. That cameo appearance at the end was DOPE AS F@*& (y'all know what I mean)

I met Ernie Hudson several years ago at a con and he was awesome. Was all to happy to spend several minutes posing in front of a couple custom Ecto-1's a couple guys had made.
