I absolutely loved the movie. Good thing I had brought tissues to wipe my tears with :'( Im pretty sure my eyes were red by the time the movie ended. My mom was the same. We are both hardcore Middle Earth fans. I so loved when Thranduil was fighting on his stag. Some very real shit happened :)

Peter, we want to see those deleted scenes, unused for the Extended edition of the Lord of the Rings : - Fellowship of the Ring : additional footage from the Battle of the Last Alliance (and maybe add Lee Pace’s Thranduil into it), an extended Council of Elrond (dialogue from the Council of Elrond, such as Gandalf explaining how Sauron forged the One Ring) - The Two Towers : Arwen and Elrond visiting Galadriel at Lothlórien, Conversation between Elrond and Arwen in a library in Rivendell, after Arwen decides to wait for Aragorn. Elrond leaves saying “You gave away your life’s grace. I cannot protect you anymore” - Return of the King : further epilogue footage, with endings for Legolas and Gimli, Éowyn and Faramir's wedding and Aragorn's death and funeral. Also, to give context for Wormtongue killing Saruman, and Legolas in turn killing Wormtongue, it was to be revealed Wormtongue poisoned Théodred. The final scene cut was Aragorn having his armour fitted for the Battle of the Black Gate by the trilogy's armourers, which was the final scene filmed during principal photography, and others. We know you stated that you would like to include some of these unused scenes in a future "Ultimate Edition" home video release, also including out-takes. It would be great if you would be able to revisit the cut of all 6 movies in the near future, do an "ultimate cut" of the 6 movies and integrate those scenes I mentioned back in the movies (instead of deleted scenes). You would also be able to reshoot the "Bilbo finding the Ring" scene from Fellowship of the ring, replace gollum from the shadowy scene in the Mines of Moria (from Fellowship), add more Balrog vs Gandalf fight (as you wished in the first place when you thought about the sequence but you didn't have the means and budget for it at the time), integrate Thranduil in the Battle of the Last Alliance, etc. (as did George Lucas with Star Wars afterwards). Not only that, it is rumored she is the most powerful elf after Feanor. She learned many things with Melian who is Maia (half-god species like Sauron) so it is quite possible that that is true. She is truly one badass Noldor woman :)

Its hate and HUNDREDS of years of training. Elves and Men got lazy and let themselves fall into ruin. Dwarves however were fighting Orcs the entire time. And trolls and drakes as well. Thats why Sauron focused this much heat on Erebor and Dale, because they were better trained!

Rodrigo Vila Perea I should have elaborated, I meant that the mirkwood elves gave half a shit about anyone. And yeah they fought during the watchful peace and the war in the north as well. But elves don't have the tradition of all out war with the gundabad and Moria orcs like the dwarves did. I still love the elves from the wars with morgoth though.

I personally hated how Thranduil was portrayed: the woodland elves were supposed to be kind in the book (they genuinely wanted to help the men of Lake Town) but he was a complete ass in the film.

Dude, Thranduil and the elves WERE kind and they DID want to help the people of Lake Town. However you got to keep in mind that Thranduil is one who has faced centuries of war and have lost his loved one. Which obviously makes him bitter. Not to mention the fact that there is an element of greed here that the whole story is about.

best scene For me would be when Thorin and company joins and charged towards the battlefield. I felt goosebumps and at the same time a teary eyed during that time. I want to stand and scream like a mighty dwarf just like in battles inside the cinema. But I couldnt do it... >.

No doubt they'll fix that continuity error, just like they fixed the legs on Smaug to wings in the prologue to Hobbit 1. That continuity error was due to the fact "team Smaug" didn't have his final design ready when they animated the scene.

well,Galadriel is the most powerful elf at that time...she also got some Maia powers from Melian through the centuries,which is a Maia as well...no wonder she could banish Sauron from Dol Guldur,who is also a very powerful Maia
