I remember having a few of those to play with around the house with a friend like Cowboys & Indians and horse Competitions etc. they were lots of fun. My friends and I all had these Hobby Horses.

I had some when I was younger and they were so fun, one of the best things ever. Now I enjoy making realistic ones but I don't use them super often I more enjoy the sewing and making part 😊

I've done gymnastics and I will say jumping 4ft in the air while holding a stick in between your legs is probably harder than normal and I was a level 7

This sport is called hobby horsing: It's like athletics and gymnastics. You rode a horse head with short stick. There are some disciplines such as: dressage, jumping, western riding etc. If you don't like this sport then just don't no one needs your opinion. I’m 11 and I love to hobby horse with my horses I bought off of Amazon and they were only 30$. I have been hobby horsing since I was 6. But now I can run as fast as a car in a neighborhood (about 10 miles per hour) and everyone loves it!

Most people don't do those things like pretending it's alive or bucking, the people that do that are usually kids who do roleplay. And some people say it's harder than irl horseriding which is defenitly not but you can't even compare them since they're entirely diffrent sports.

I always used to pretend to be on a horse when going on walks. I’d set out a jumping course in the garden, but felt I had to give it up age 15 because it looked weird. But I wish I carried on, it’s bloody good for fitness even though I reckon it’s a massive ADHD trait 😂

Equestrian?! The Most Important part is Missing, the horse! This has nothing to do with knowledge of riding or caring for a horse. Is it human exercise? Yes. Is it human jumping? Yes. But at the end of the day this is just more people playing pretend well beyond the appropriate age. This is a furry cos play event. The human is mimicking being a horse. Honestly they could do all the same movements without the hobby horse. Human dressage and jump. They’d get more respect for that then making up a sport with a CHILD’s TOY! U have to think that many of those attracted to these types of endeavors suffer from some emotional or mental maturity.
