Saw one of your earlier videos where you indicated flipping was one of your favorite fishing methods. Never ceases to amaze at the ease with which you do it. What weight do you usually go with and what are your reel settings to free spool that easy and not backlash? Hopefully it's my technique and I don't have to invest in a $350 reel, although I'm sure that would help!
@MattStefanFishing Жыл бұрын
My reels are generally in a free spool state to a like flipping 3/16 the most it tends to get more bites

I was just going to say at the 7:50 mark, I would have anchored and shut off all electronics for that juicy spot. Gotta go silent and wait for the big ones, 5+, in those close quarters. In that low vis situation with shallow water, gotta be extra sneaky.

Picasso!! I’m excited and bummed you’ve partnered with them. Excited because get to see more Picasso lures. Bummed in that Picasso has become my sneaky go to brand and rather Picasso stay secret. I love their jigs, vibrating jigs, and wire baits. I also like their accessories such as skirts, underpin harness that converts any jig to an underpin.

Matt, I can't believe Dirty Jigs dropped you. What the heck were they thinking? Maybe they are just cutting expenses but I think they made a mistake. I'm glad you picked up Picasso as they have a really good lineup. Aaron Martens, rip, made them a household name in the bass business and, he was no slouch.

Hey Matt, I’m glad you’re on the Picasso team, and I’ve been using a ton of their products and they have never let me down. They have great jigs and compact jigs along with some super Spinnerbaits, so I think it worked out in your favor 👊 I love the titanium weedguards too and I’ve always had love for Aaron Marten, including the Shockblade that is a great quality and a different action than ZMAN lineup.happy October 😎🍀🎣🍀

@@MattStefanFishing I second that notion! If I can, I like to put in my two cents regarding Picasso right now. Please help them clean up their website, and most of all, they need to clean up the designations they have regarding the different actions in their Scrounger head line up. It's so confusing, I tend to attribute the lacking market share to it. Everyone that knows, knows why they are kept a secret. But Picasso is in the sales business, not the competition business. I think your broader perspective and experience in life will be just the addition they've been needing. Tight Lines Champ! Go get em!
