I discovered them during Covid as well but by the path of seeing the video “Target dads” that he created with his friends who also have their own channels. It is hilarious! If you haven’t seen it you have to find it.

They are so fun to watch in their videos... Both of them have a great sense of humor about themselves. My wife and I have been married 25 yrs and learning to fight fairly was a real challenge at times, but they are correct that you never say something you'll regret later.

gosh i still remember Kim when she was a features journo on tv 😅, that how to spot a counterfeit bag / item story? gosh to this day it's so bloddy useful. so so happy that this worked out for Kim and Penn because goodness knows they are able to help humanity more this way than by working on TV. 🤗

I’m think learning to communicate is great advice for any type of relationship. My mother and I are 2 adults ( I’m disabled so I live with her) but we communicate very differently so things can often get lost in translation, we are learning and improving on understanding each other and therefore fight less.

I don’t fight with my husband, I fight with my kids. I could use a book on how to have a constructive discussion with someone who is completely illogical.

See to find Thomas Gordon's _Parent Effectiveness Training_ as I recall (I think translation in my language fits tje book's message much better. It's *art/skill* (one word that encompasses that mix) *of patenting* - how to raise responsible children) It's about active listening and problem solving as a team. I studied psychology and was babysitting a lot, and seen various different books on parent's shelves - but this one stands out imo. Works with any kind of relationship, too, but makes point seem simpler with children - we are not biased/invested in our opinions about how to deal with some grown-ups problems. Additionally, it never expects inhumane perfection from patents, and starts with non-verbal & non-... eloquent? (good in expressing needs) communication /with babies & toddlers. It's a bit old, so some examples are dated. (if not updated in US more recent edition) And it's a bit too much self-congratulatory for my taste, but it's selling courses, so I guess success stories are a necessity. Good luck! ETA : kids are not completely illogical. Listening more carefully might end up with you realizing their 'logic' makes sense (more often than not)

Oh my gosh rolling the dice with 2 months salary !!! That's a total take no prisoner move and eat some hand grenades for breakfast !!! Holy smackladocious !!! Y'all are combat mercenaries in the truest sense of the word. You seem to have the tempo and flow control in sync . Creativity is a plus..... It helps to have quality techno geeks to get the angle of the dangle . I still want to read your book even though I'm single no children.

I think Covid actually helped them further as people were home and could relate. I still laugh at Penn in his Covid clip parody of "Billie Jean" with a Covid lyric overlay. The mailbox moon walk had me wetting my pants. Exciting part of a "Covid day" in 2020
