Very inspiring photo work. I just got a Holga 120 Pan today. Can't wait to use it. Thanks.

Thanks a lot, Frances! I appreciate the kind words. It's been roughly 8 months of using the Holga 120 Pan and against all odds it's one of my favorite cameras. I honestly purchased it just to test the waters for pano format with the intention of likely investing in a Noblex or 120 Widelux. However, the prices are getting out of hand in my opinion and perhaps more importantly...there is just "something" about this camera. I'm actually in the process of doing an MASSIVE upgrade of sorts to my Holga which I'll hopefully have finished and posted here in the next week or two. Just waiting on one last part to arrive from overseas. I hope you enjoy your camera!

Does this camera have flash or would I need to buy one
@AdamWelch Жыл бұрын
No flashes are included so if you want to use one or more you would have to get them separately.

Hi Mandy! Thank you so much for the kind words and also especially for your Kofi support! I'm going to try and start mentioning all my much appreciated supporters at the end of each new video. I'll be sure to list you at the top 😁 Thank you again!

Super fun to watch. I saw on another video in the mountain streams that you were doing "long exposure" with your Holga. Was that a modification you did yourself? I think my Holga only shoots one speed.

Hey Randy, thanks a lot for the kind words. It's funny you bring this up because I'm quite literally in the middle of doing some major modifications to the Holga which includes adding a way to do more efficient long exposures. To answer your question, all long exposures thus far with my Holga have been done in "Bulb" mode by depressing and holding the shutter lever down for the the duration of the exposure. As far as I know, all Holgas (aside from some aftermarket mods) have two exposure modes: "N" and "Bulb." The N mode is the auto speed which is roughly 1/100th of a second and the Bulb of course opens the shutter as long as the release is held down.

thanks Adam.... yep, mine has it! I'll try it out asap! Do you have a good email to use for contacting you? @@AdamWelch

Best to use the contact form on my website at www.aphotographist.com and that forwards to my business email. The current climate makes me hesitant to post it here for the bots to crawl.

That was unfortunate 😞

Truly. However, I must admit those first rolls (even though they were overlapped) ended up producing quite a few surrealistic double exposures that weren't in the episode.

Would be awesome to take this camera up in the mountains.

Absolutely and I have done since then. I'm ironically literally working on a MASSIVE overhaul of this camera adding a lot of sel-built features to improve its overall usability.

Hey thanks, a lot. I appreciate that. I was actually going to duck in for a mid-day beverage someplace but did see many spots serving alcohol.

No dialogue at all in this one. Aside from a huge grunt from me crouching at one point....

Ha! Believe or not it's fairly steep. The town proper of Hinton felt quite strange. Super small but somehow I sensed most of the people I encountered there we're local. Touristy but not if that makes any sense.
