The Holiday Special 2023! Driver Playthrough! (Part 2)

The second part of my playthrough, where I stop breezing through the game and actually start having some trouble with some missions. Turns out that New York has some pretty challenging stuff in there (not counting the infamous final mission), though said last mission was definitely not a walk in the park. That said it did go smoother than expected with a very lucky ending! Safe to say I call it close on a couple missions damage wise.
With that marks the end of 2023, quite a year for this channel, got some fun playthroughs done but most importantly I was allowed to showcase Driver 2 to a large public at ESA, some great memories in there and I got to meet a lot of cool folks I only spoke to online. Here's to 2024 and for it to be another great year, and I wish you all the same luck!

Thanks for the playthrough! The ending was epic! Man, I even forgot how laggy this game is. In my memory, only Driver 2 has seemed to be that laggy. Again, thanks for the playthrough, Happy New Year!

I will not allow such slander of LA. Yea its boring but it has the best music! I had to go back and replay D1 and I have to say, I can't un see the lag. Child me never noticed. We desperately need a ReDriver 1 version. Btw the first mission choice in LA is big, Lucky to the Doc is TIGHT on time

if the game is slow it means the emulation is perfect so I don't complain.

1:08:44 Why'd you go straight there? Turning left and driving along the trees gives you some cover from your pursuers (especially those on the oncoming lane), unlike that path where you're completely in the open and nothing stands between you and them, besides random cars, of course.

@@the_surviv0r Distance-wise? Maybe. But, like I said, those trees give you cover from cops and bandits (should SHTF, you could just maneuver between them and put some distance between you and your pursuers), making the path I propose safer for roughly 70% of the way instead of being entirely unsafe. And that distance from the last turn to the garage is basically five steps on foot. Also, as far as I remember, no roadblocks to worry about (or they are stupid easy to avoid). So this is why I brought it up.

Man this mission with a cheat is very very hard because with the cheat put the game in expert and it's so really hard Sorry for my bad English but i am mexican.

Yeah it's not great sadly, It's especially notable now that I'm used to REDRIVER2
