The video appears to be from German television and is a very strange edit including footage from another appearance in which the band performed "Hey Willy". I've learned that this editing was done to edit out the credits of the original program.
Very strange.

My husband and I call this our song. As teenagers we had a 'shotgun wedding' and here we are 42 years on, still in together and still in love. Great memories of the music of the 60s

What the Hell??? Why would the camera pan away from Tony Hicks' magical guitar solo to even his gorgeous face, but then to other crap??? Now, what could've an archive for all time or his mastery and utter genius at his craft, we have nothing but the aural experience. Bad call, director!!! Big mistake for the Ages. Love you still, Tony Hicks, the best and most beautiful!! P.S. Look me up if you want me to prove my devotion. :)

This really is music. Say what we like, hate what we want. This was a real life story that affected everyone - told in verse - and I can only pray it will for the rest of time. When driving on a long road trip it's never the new music that makes it onto my playlist. Always the classics. If you think the lyrics are silly you are an idiot.

This is a great, sweet song; evocative, fantastic melody and singing, etc. I'm very surprised it hasn't had more views on here, but I suppose that's because it wasn't a single in many countries. It gets a fair bit of play on the oldies' stations here in Australia. It was number 1 here, so I dunno why it wasn't a single in other countries

this song is APPROPRIATE in today's generation: teen pregnancies, extra-marital sex, loose morals on sex, how i wish this would be played in FM radios, MTV. This song has a very strong message to the youth (by the way, i'm not a conservative, am in my mid 50's but still rockin, and has long hair)

I had this song on an album called Different Strokes from Columbia records that came out in 1971. Truly I had forgotten what a nice guitar work was done in this song. I hadn't heard it played for 42 years until today, and it reminded me of a girl I knew back then...

The recording is actually from German television. The channel is called "Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen (ZDF)". The show was called "Disco 71". It's true: it's really strange that the credits were cut out and replaced by other, foreign shots.

Great song!! Too Young to Be Married She wakes up early every morning She get up long before the sunshine Greets the milkman who's still yawning And reads the paper for a short time Calls the kids "get out of bed" They never hear a word she says Husband stands to leave the table She says "i hope you have a good day" He thinks "one day soon as i'm able I'll get a job where i get good pay." They find it hard to make ends meet But they don't mention it because they have each other An love is free while they're supposed to be ... Too young to be married Too young to be free Too young to be married But what could they do, they were going to have a baby After the kids have had their breakfast Now they're off to get some schooling She cleans the house and makes the beds She starts to dreams but knows she's fooling She swears one day she'll stay in bed But for now she knows she's got to keep on working ''cause round and round inside her head She hears the words her mother said ... Too young to be married Too young to be free Too young to be married But what could they do? Source: LyricFind Songwriters: Tony Hicks

I'm reluctant to get "nuts and bolts" about a song that's mostly about emotion/lyrics but, as nice as the guitar solo is, I've always felt that it was very out of place. It's almost as if if switches to another song for 16 bars. :-) And what's with the odd key changes?! Yes, it's a good solo, but is it really for this song? I suspect they couldn't come up with a middle eight. It breaks up the song nicely, but that's what middle eights are for. :-)
