This book is about "hebrews" in the original sense of the word as spoken by a foreign king in describing Abraham as a man of "multi-portioned" gifts. Abraham had made a journey in life toward the fulness of faith. He did not have the benefit of the grace of Jesus giving to us the ability to have faith by belief and confession ~ for salvation/forgiveness, and for righteousness, and for holiness, and eventually for godliness. We have Jesus, a better way. We have the good news and example of the risen son of God. How could I ever have come into the kingdom of God without the grace of Jesus.
