Since the "Holy Grail" is an invention of malicious indoctrinators seeking to dominate the masses with their stories, it's in no way surprising that a plethora of holy grails have popped up all over the world, claiming the mystical powers of something that never was. In a similar way, the church "fathers" claimed finger bones they had in their possession once belonged to apostles to such a degree than most of the apostles could only have been genetic freaks with polydactyly. The Gospels were written long after the death of Jesus. Women prepared the passover meal and cleaned up afterwards what was most likely simple cups and dinnerware. No holy powers were associated with ‘relics” until the gentiles (Romans, Greeks, etc) injected their pagan beliefs, especially the Catholic church to make converts. Remember, the initial Christians were predominantly Jewish as were the Apostles.

The holy grail is not a cup, its Jesus's blood line. The knights Templar went to the holy city to find that line. When they found it the church took the information and hid it in the Vault in Rome.
