Did you know that the so-called Kedarnath Temple was originally built by the British as a rest house and inn? Later it was abandoned by the British and occupied by the Brahmins. The Brahmins turned this former British rest house into a temple to exploit pagans. Now they claim this temple was built by Adi Shankara in the 8th century.
