The paster at The Church of Christ here in Rogers City Michigan said that the gifts of the holy spirit died when the last disciple died. He also said that if you hope to go to heaven you're not going, the New Testament is full of hope!! My son and I no longer attend because of drama. I don't believe him (Dale DuVerney) pastor about the holy spirit... Last year my son delivered demons from me, hrs a godly man and is close with God, I've turned my life to God and Jesus, the gifts of the holy spirit haven't died off and you can hope for heaven. The Church of Christ here is Luke warm and in Revelation Jesus said He's going to vomit it out of His mouth!!

I have a question why is this important, is the body of Christ divided or is Christ divided. JWs don’t fully believe in the diety of Jesus. It’s one thing if a person doesn’t believe in the gifts but Jesus being eternally God is a salvation issue. JWs are wonderful people but they don’t know the true Jesus. They think he was a created being. Those who misunderstand the gifts, can still love and know the true Jesus.

Agreed with what you all were saying but I would say then what about Sabbath? I agree the gifts are still present and it is biblically true but so is the Sabbath and the Lord defines it and when, Saturday. Not only that it is smack dab in the middle of the 10 commandments which God haveand he had not change. We can agree that the 10 commandments are still truth. Jesus restates them all as we should follow. Also it says, Remember. It was the catholic church and Constantinople the Pope/Vatican had documents which they have the authority to change what God has said is sin that grieves him. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. how can you have peace , if you're worried 24/7 did i do right oo noo i fall short , did i maintained the law properly? the bible does say if you sin once you are guilty of all , please guys im not saying do what ever you want , because we are a new creations , the law is there to show you what is sin , but is your faith that he died for you that saves you ,not how well you keep up the law , as romans 4:5 says even if you dont keep the law do the deeds you are still saved, you will suffer loss but you will be saved , remember the greater in the kingdom of god and less ? remember his kingdom comes on earth , guys even iF an angel says something else like you can loose your salvation thats a LIE bible warn us about this an angel !! not some false preacher but an ANGEL! so please dont think that as a christian you must do this do that or you gonna loose your salvation , but once you believe that christ died for your sins and rose on the third day , you are sealed with the holy spirit of god until the day of redemption. many churches put people under law. is the faith that saves us , our good deeds will be rewarded in heaven , people who preach a work based salvation , in the end they gonna hear depart from me i never knew you. Soo that means law is done away we can go kill do this do that? ,No!!!! you get a MORALITY from god you dont do that , and even if you do something bad he chastise you make you feel guilty (Hebrews 12:5-6), but its the FAITH not the LAW what saves you , so lets say you steal something cuz you neede the money or you watch some dirty movie or had sex outside marriage and die right at that second you go to hell? see how stupid that is? you are sealed he died for your sins , past future present , but still you pray for your sins to be forgiven cuz they affect you while on earth , dont listen to me or any1 else saying you can loose your salvation or doubt it , listen to the bible . 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:5-7 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. mathew 7:21 and what is the will of father? TO believe "For this is the will of my Father, that every one who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life.” (John 6:40)" Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. john 6:47 YOU HAVE EVERlasting life by faith
