i have been in the house of god for years and have felt something missing , listening to this i realised that i was like the people of ephesus in acts 19 seeking God but lacking the presence of his Holy Spirit, without the evidence of the Holy Spirit our coming to God is ritualistic, and through this teaching i have began to learn that the holy Spirit is a blessing given from repentance, once we have been forgiven we must then be baptised in the Holy Spirit to turn our ritualistic act into meaningful spiritual lifestyle. The baptism of the Holy Spirit makes us true christians becasue it allows us to talk to God in spirit which he is. (John 4:24)

Amen. The Holy Spirit builds up, and other spirits tear down. I've been around people like this. They're critical, argumentative, and can never seem to have any joy in them. The church can't increase bc of these types of people. One church I would visit only had two members, and the person I saw for myself was the reason for the low membership. I still say today that this person was of another spirit that called themselves a Christian but, in actuality, was being used of the Devil to thwart God's church. Eventually, the church was closed down for lack of membership. Very sad.😢

I love your teachings and your clarity of the word and you have really helped me thank you so very much I was born dead and was told in school that I would not become anything special my parents sent me to school on a Saturday I hated it I wasn't diognosed with severe dislexic for the last 3 years I've read a lot more with the bible and read another Christian book I couldn't put down the night the angels came I read it in 3 days I don't no what my calling is for yet and I don't hear the voice of the Holy spirit or talk in tongs but I hope its soon as I've just been diognosed with canser of the neck and throat I just want to be the best I can be I speek to them both daylie 🙏🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🇮🇱🕊️✝️

Paul says be not filled with wine but be filled with the Holy Spirit...there seems to be some confusion on the gifts of the Holy Spirit (which is to edify the church)listed in 1 corinthians 12and 14 and the fruit of the Holy Spirit listed in Galations 5:23 of course you should ask to be more filled with the Holy Spirit unless you think you have all of the Love, joy peace, patience,, kindness, goodness, gentleness,, self-control and faithfulness available.

Why do i keep hearing wrong things, like catholics think the holy trinity is God, Jesus, and Mary? As David just said in his first Holy Spirit teachings.,. So why do catholics begin prayer by saying In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit? After 59 years of being a catholic, i have never ever, heard of such a thing. So is it any wonder there are such misunderstandings? And only week was told at a Fellowship service, that catholics don't pray directly to God, only thru intersession!! What a thing to say, total absolute tosh. Some do also pray to Mary and Saints to intercede, but this as well as praying too. Sacraments are thru priests, communion,( but Also can be given by certain volunteers to the housebound), funerals, weddings, Baptism, Confirmation, etc. Other denominations do this as well. If not priests, than pastors, vicars, elders etc. I don't see members of the congregation doing this in these other denomations .. so i am concerned that these false teachings are being given due to ignorance. It is better just to stick with God's word and do not add yours ...God knows best

Thank you for highlighting this David would be the first to agree that Catholics do not consider the Trinity to include Mary - this is nothing more than a comparison a comparison used to emphasis that Catholics hold Mary so holy she is sometimes held up there as Holy and being equal to Jesus and this is where there are significant differences Ps 99 for the Lord our God is holy It's a big topic but the key difference in what David teaches is biblical and what the Catholic Church proclaim is Truth comes down to revelations of men - ie dogmas. A key message of David is to check him out - do not accept anything he says unless you can find it in the Bible - that is the only source of Truth The Catholic Church believe and proclaims that God is still revealing his Truth today, through revelation to men ie Dogmas - but you will not find these dogmas in Gods written word ......... which David believes is complete and nothing should be added nor taken away from the Bible Mary is one such significant difference between what the Bible states and what the Catholic teaches ...who is right - can both be correct ? Jesus was asked by the disciples - Rabi teach us how to pray - and he himself, led by example - Jesus said "when you pray say" - "Our Father" .....he was not teaching us to pray to Jesus ....nor Mary but.......... to His Father Catholics give Mary the title Holy Mother of God - that is not something you will find given to her in the Bible, Jesus died for all that believe in him including Mary Mary was a very special woman chosen by God to give birth to His son - but she is not the Mother of God - Yes Jesus is God but he was not created by Mary, he existed at the very beginning of creation and was the creator of all things including Mary "And the Word chose to make His dwelling amongst us" - John Chapter 1 ........through being born of a virgin. a conscious choice and decision of God Using the analogy of Father Son and Holy Mary - is not a misunderstanding but a statement that the Catholic Church gives Many a significantly higher position than what the Bible states. What is the biblical source of claiming Mary was immaculate ? Jesus with was special and unique - he is the only one claimed to be born of a virgin birth in the Bible This is not meant to criticise Catholics - a believer that David held as one of his closest respected friends was a catholic - Father Ian Petit - an incredible man of God So I apologies for any offence caused by the analogy Father Son and Holy Mary - In return I ask you to please study Gods Word and draw your own conclusions - what is written in Gods word and what the Catholic Church teaches? ........Mother of God, Immaculate Conception, Perpetual virginity, and Assumption.? ....seek the biblical evidence for this yourself

Now why would you say the 1st day of the week is Holy? When the bible clearly say sa Sabbath is the Lord's holy day!! No where in the bible says that the resurrection of Jesus makes the makes the 1st day holy!!! In addition the term Lord's day is not a observation day that is stated in Rev. HI - firstly you are right to question ....what anyone tells you .....because there is so much misinformation in the world today including what you may hear preached in Church If you cannot find what David says in your Bible then dismiss everything he says ....but do that also of other preachers not just David Please re-listen to what David says - he is not an advocate that we should make Sunday the Sabbath day - Sunday is the day adopted by many Christians since the second century as the day they meet , the reason is because of the Resurrection, An interesting biblical reference is found in Acts 20:7 “On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and he prolonged his speech until midnight”, This distinguishes breaking of bread to the Jewish holy day David is explaining why Christians meet on a Sunday, he is not saying this is the way it should be - just the reason why it is Not all Christians meet on a Sunday - some still keep Saturday as their holy day. If you listen to Davids teachings, not just this one, you will find David consistently teaches we should treat everyday as a holy day, not Saturday not Sunday but 'every' day .......because of Christs Resurrection Where in your Bible will you find the term "Lords day" except Revelation ...there is "the day of our Lord" ... a there is the word "Sabbath" but the "Lords day" is a modern term. There is a reason why you will find the "Lord Day" ( or Lordie Day ) only in the book of Revelation and that is because when John wrote the book of Revelation he was in prison - why ? After the death of Caesar in 44BC he was declared 'divine' by the time of John - all Emperors and their families were considered to be gods - and they commanded everyone on one specific day of the year to bow the knee and worship Caesar as Lord - ie God Please not take this next link as gospel truth but if you wish to read some history check this out ....... you will find other historic references also www.thatyoumayknowhim.com/post/the-lord-s-day-bringing-clarity-to-a-century-old-debate So before you say David is leading people astray and ask him to recheck his teaching - please do check him out - I have been checking him out for 15 years and I cannot find fault

@DavidPawsonMinistry he's prayer started off with sounds like he's advocating Sunday as a holy day, and its not even part of his teaching.. I understand there's so much antisemitism in the world especially in what's going on in Israel 🇮🇱.one of the reason why Sabbath observance is avoided not popular. Nevertheless, you mention on acts that Paul has constituted a new holy day are you saying an apostle can change the commandments of the Almighty God? The apostle broke bread daily, we can worship everyday we can gather everyday but that doesn't change the fact that theres only one true Sabbath day that God made holy and thats the seventh day. Yeshua preached in the synagogue every Sabbath as his custom was so as the apostles even the Gentiles beg Paul to meet with them on the next sabbth.. And you mention acts 20 which is a swallow argument to say that God's true Sabbath was done away with. If you truly understand the verse you'll see that their gathering started on the Sabbath. And You are Right the Lord's Day is a modern term for the LORD’S SABBATH 'Sabbath is a day of rest. Let us preach the truth not according to what we decide is lawful, bring back the power and authority of the bible thanks..

Why are you so critical? - Did I say Paul constituted a new holy day ? I am stating that Christians meeting on a Sunday is a tradition dating back to the 2nd centrally, some say based on the fact the believers broke bread on the first day of the week - Im not justifying it as right or wrong and neither was David Why do some Christians choose to meet on a Sunday? - thats the reason ..........neither David nor I have stated Paul was the cause and changed Gods commandments - and please let's not blame Antisemitism, for something Christians decided in the 2nd Century. The apostles broke bread daily - which is one of the reasons David teaches that christians should treat every day as a holy day - did I not say that ? You have not acknowledged my comment regarding the Roman commandment reference the Lords day - just criticised David for teaching it is related to Revelation - it has nothing to do with when Christian's choose to meet There is enough war in this world without Christians looking for fault in others. David Pawson was a humble man - who never sought fame nor fortune, he gave everything away free of charge and lived a very modest life, his Ministry never asks for Money. There was no greater supporter of the Jewish Nation than David Pawson , Lance Lambert and Derek Prince ....... Let us follow the example of these three men and "preach the truth .....not according to what we decide is lawful............, but according to the power and authority of the bible! ............Gods Word is only Truth

@DavidPawsonMinistry I'm not being critical, it's just mind boggling to me how preachers such as these pastors you mention with great power in their voices knows the truth but yet insist of not preaching it. Sabbath is a sign between God and us but yet you say it's ok not to keep it because traditionally the apostles met on a sunday? I have not heard David P and Dereck P. Preach that 7th day is the sabbath but only about how sunday is ok to worship.

Ok now lets specifically address whether its OK to worship God on Sunday? - are you saying Christians should not worship God on Sundays, Mondays , Tuesdays ......? ONLY Saturday because Saturday is the Sabbath Do you work on Saturdays...... is it wrong for s Nurse or Doctor to attend the sick on a Sabbath - because Jesus was accused of doing this - but how did he answer?...... Im referencing the Bible here not what men say To be very clear Derek Prince and David Pawson teach everyday should be a holy day ....not just the Sabbath or Sundays - do you disagree or agree that in Christ everyday should be considered a Holy Day ? Now regarding the Sabbath - there are some 613 or more laws of Moses - do you honour and obey every single one of them or do you choose which ones you obey and which ones you do not ......perhaps you only respect the 10 Commandments ? Jesus released us from legalism - Christians are not under the law of Moses but in Christ we have been set free to worship God on every day of the week, what is important is we honour the Lord in all aspects of our life - and in him alone do we worship ...... not legalistically just on Saturdays . And this is the New Testament teaching of Jesus, Paul ......and all New Testament writers
