WOW this is beautiful your attention to detail is excellent, love the fact you could just have gone down the modern side of things but opted for the old style of British cinema design which i love 👏 👏 👏

That`s wicked and I take my hat off to you for actually doing something I have always wanted to do myself. All the very best for the future and I`m glad to see that you have a "cinema cat".

Yeah the atmosphere in both the ABC and the Ocean were amazing. The ABC had a great entrance, I see that has inspired your cinema, the grand salon/waiting area was beautiful and the Odean was and still is an impressive building. I'm over in Tenerife, are you open to the public?

Well done Anderson, I too have a 35mm cinema in my garage at present I am in middle of changing my projector from Kalee GK37 to Vic5 with 6000ft spools and CP500 Dolby processor, its long haul due to finding hard to get hold of cinema projection engineer's to complete the installation, I am ex cinema projectionist watching this clip I know exactly where you coming from.

I trained as a projectionist for the Rank Organisation from 1957 until 1960 (Kale 21s with President arc lamps) and worked for ABC Cinemas as a projectionist from 1960 until 1968 ( Ross GC3s with RCA sound heads) and then at Elstree Studios from 1969 until 1974 (working on several different projection units including Philips DP 70/35 with "rock and roll facility) when I left the industry altogether. We still ran nitrate film for Saturday Morning Minors mostly in the late 50s and still had all the safety shut down in place. A frame of nitrate film was set just above the gate on two sprung loaded pins. If the film in the gate got stuck causing the film to ignite the single frame would burn through, releasing the pins and shutting down the arc. Leaving spool boxes open, other than checking the amount of film on the reel, was a sackable offence if caught, especially by an impromptu visit by the fire chief, as was smoking in the Box.

This guy is like me. An amazing imagination with the passion and willpower to build amazing things! I'm also a middle class guy who built my dream in my own home! Check out my facebook page to see my home bar that I built myself...complete with a 1980's arcade cabinet, jukebox, and the proper ambient lighting! (Keep in mind, I'm not a millionaire). Search for me at Rick Wainio in San Antonio, Texas to check out my creation. My next project is to build a movie theater similar to this in my backyard, although on a smaller and cheaper scale, but still, it will be epic! I'm getting a lot of my ideas from this guy! I wish I could meet this guy one day and share our "imagination" stories!
